Default Everything But The Girl

I've only heard a few tracks but I really like what I've heard, any song or album recommendations?

"Like the Deserts Miss the Rain" is wonderful. I highly recommend it.

The song is 'Missing'.

'Walking Wounded'
'Temparamental'

Two excellent albums full of jazzy trip hop beats and soulful laments.

Temperamental is an absolutely wonderful album - very soulful trip hop, makes for great night-time listening as well. I couldn't recommend it enough.

I listened some of their songs in the 80's but never heard since. It's perhaps a good occasion to give a chance to their new productions.

Temparamental seems to be the right start!

This track is from 'Walking Wounded'. They have'nt made an album since 1999. I wish they would make another. She has such a great voice.

Walking Wounded is actually the only album I have of theirs and that track is coincidentally my favorite on the album

Default Also, Amplified Heart

I agree that Walking Wounded and Tempermental are great; I would add Amplified Heart to round it out. The album doesn't have a bad track. "Missing" is probably the most recognized of EBTG songs; "Walking to Me," "Get Me," and "25th December" are all great. Amplified Heart was recorded after a hiatus for EBTG when Benn Watt was quite ill. (He actually wrote a book about his experience as a patient.) After some time off, they began recording again; I think AH is the transitional album for them; more inspired and mature than work in the 80's, and good prelude for Walking Wounded and Tempermental. Enjoy.

I don't know too much about them apart from the handful of singles they had in the very early 90's but I always liked them and felt they were out of place in the pop market and stood head and shoulders above of their competitors.
