The remix work of royksopp out there is much better then what they originally produced. To name one the white duke mix of what else is there on youtube. (youtube.com/watch?v=RYpA2amm-SI)

Otherwise, aside from a few songs, they are over rated.

For some reason the phrase "a watered down version of air" makes me laugh. It makes me think of clouds.

I'll admit, putting Remind Me in those commericials was pretty good, because that song is DAMN catchy. In addition to Geico, I believe sprint(maybe) or some other cell phone provider used something in their commercials as well.

I cant wait for the new CD.

i suppose that's accurate but not at all intentional haha

even though i find there are for more misses than hits with what i've heard by royksopp their track '40 years back / come' is gold.

On the Ultra Chilled albums 1 and 2 there are a couple of great Royksopp songs. Their biggest hit is probably Eple which is on Ultra Chilled 1 and So Easy is a decent track on UC 2.

Good band, but I still think Zero 7 is the best chill/ambient band out there.

Seeing them live for some reason. Only because I've never been to an electronica gig before.

I love my Ambient music but it's something I could never imagine watching live. I feel that this sort of music is intimate and reliant on the mood and time.

Their second album is far from ambient and their third is a mix of ambient and upbeat.

Are they better than Melody AM though? If so I may give them a listen.
