Love Daft Punk. I especially love their selection of collaborating artists. Nile Rodgers? Hell yes! Julian Casablancas? Don't care much for the Stroke's music, but Daft Punk put Julian to good use in Instant Crush. Will Pharrel? Sure, welcome to my music selection. Todd Edwards? Ok, whoever you are, you did great on Face to Face.

I was listening to these guys again the other day and I forgot how vile some of their material is. Both of these songs are great up until they add seriously distorted cacaphony to them and then they turn to absolute filth the likes of which I've never heard before. "Rollin' & Scratchin'" is like if Vacuus made industrial metal.
If you can listen to this stuff. Hats off to you. These two songs make me flee in terror. |

I reviewed that album for my college newspaper in one of my two articles when I was there. The other was a film review of Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon. |
