I agree with you, Daft Punk is certainly changing. It'll be interesting to see if their next album continues this trend or they divert back to their roots. I'll still buy the album either way. |

See, I think their roots were more original and less sample oriented.
I dunno. Who said that phrase, 'It's not were you got it, it's where you take it'? Anyways, Still love 'em. But, if I see them with Kanye West or the Black Eyed Peas, it's finished. I'll just remember them for what they used to be. Euro Disco and disco is fine with me, but ...c'mon. This is Daft fckn PUNK. Damn, I used to dance all night to those guys. All sweaty and loony and happy. Last edited by DoesntReallyMatter; 02-21-2014 at 09:14 PM. |

I like some 'pop'.
But, I don't go to Daft Punk to get pop. Or, ****ty music. 'What's wrong with ****ty music?' It's crappy, that's the whole meaning of the adjective. Wait, why did mine get censored, and yours didn't? |

Look I understand what you're saying about them becoming a pop band, but I think you're making a big deal out of what is most likely nothing. |

I really couldn't care less.
I was just expressing a (slightly exaggerated) opinion about their latest album. I'll still be bangin Homework and Discovery and Alive 97, ETC. Even the soundtrack to um, what was it, oh! Irreversible. And all their early stuff. The fk they care about my opinion? They're doing, presumably, what they want to do. Good on 'em. They're obviously very popular so, no harm, no foul. |
