After reading the last few pages of comments im gonna have to give it a listen. The first single is an odd one, on first listen im thinking no no no not good, but it just grows on you quickly.

Undoubtedly my favorite Daft Punk album. Granted, I'm not a huge fan of Homework or Human After All. Love the energy and vibe of the album altogether. Only real issue for me is some of the way they worked transitions within some of the songs. Especially with the album version of Get Lucky, I'd even go as far as to say that it's one of the weaker parts of the album. But the tracks were all pretty varied from each other without detracting from the whole feel.

Great album. No tracks that I would skip over, although there were a couple weren't great in my opinion (Doin' it Right, Instant Crush). The first three tracks, Motherboard, and Contact make for my favorites by far, as well as the full version of Get Lucky, which is considerably better than the radio cut. Within is starting to really grow on me as well. I can see why some people really don't like this album, though. Most of it relies on subtle complexities that not everyone is going to pick up on, especially in the improvisation of the live musicians they brought onto this album.

Latest album was a disgrace. I don't care about the subtle complexities of rehashing the worst parts of the 70s. Might as well make a new album with subtle complexities of rehashing the very worst parts of the 80s. And I'm pretty sure that if Daft Punk did it, everyone would love it because Daft Punk did it.
F*ck all that.
