I've been getting into them again recently... actually my most current obsession. I've known them for long enough, but have never stayed all that into them. but that might change this time.
Discovery used to be my favorite album. then it was Human After All when I was getting into them again late last summer. then at some point between them and now, I developed a whole new level of appreciation for Homework. I forget exactly when it happened, but I watched the Da Funk video and then listened to the album a bunch... and I think it's my favorite overall, to be honest. but this last time, what got me into them was watching a live of them... and then I listened to Alive 2007 a bunch for like, 3 days... and then more Homework... *3* and Discovery will probably forever remain my least favorite... lol |

They are my all-time favorite band. I guess I'm weird though, because Discovery is my least favorite album from them, and Human After All is my favorite, with Homework in between. Very peculiar. I love their films, also . . . well, I love everything that they made. I especially love how they use talkboxes and vocoders, and how they make voice-like synths (End of Line, Technologic, Human After All, etc.) They've inspired me so much and I've actually met some of my best friends because of their music. I also love how they value quality over quantity- even though it gets kind of crazy waiting four years for them to make an album, once they've released one, it's well worth it (at least for me, since I love Human After All) I really love their filming style too (Electroma, Technologic) They're just so perfect <3

I think my first exposure to "good" dance music was with "One More Time" back when I was really young; it must have been 2004. The only other song I knew by them was "Around the World" (which I believed at the time was by Eifel65). In 2010 I was informed that they were also responsible for "Technologic," and after being forcibly subjected to more of their Musique in early 2011 I've been a big fan.
My favourite tracks from each album are "Digital Love," "Revolution 909," "Emotion," and "Derezzed." I also have an EP of early Tron music, and I really like the original version of "End of Line" (known then as "The Tron: Legacy Theme"). |

Timeless records. Unfortunately, Human After All couldn't quite possess the magic their predecessor's could.

Anyone else stoked for the new album? It might be a bit early to start going crazy over something that's out in three months and might be terrible but they've started updating their site with what's presumably album artwork, the little teases.
