No they are french! Just look at the names: Gauy Manuel De Homem Christo and Thomas Bangalter. I admit Thomas has a German sounding name (Bangalter - Baumgartner) but trust me they are Frech! |

But...but...!! I could've sworn they were German. Here, I've had this damn CD for years and never bothered to notice that on the back at the bottom it does say: Copyright 1996 Daft Trax under exclusive license to Virgin France.
*Stamps the word JACKASS on forehead.* I stand shamefacedly corrected. Quote:

Well, ****. I'm actually disappointed in Daft for a whole minute. I just wasted a lot of time (due to my poor, slow dial up connection- that's right, I still kick it old school.) downloading their remix of Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out". I thought, "Hey, sounds like a great idea! I like that song already. To add some DP to it will be like mixing cranberry juice and vodka- it should turn out nicely."
I was wrong. It's just the same song! All they did was up the bass a bit (Which is cool- can't have too much bass.) and add some scratches that are similar to the sounds of 'Burnin'. Grrrr.
