yea i'm a big fan of steve aoki, though i admit i haven't really listened to much else from japan. those two you suggested sound good, also just stumbled across 80kidz, sounds pretty rockin. |
Glad you like the sound Sakana. Japanese electro has a lot elasticity. Most times its very experimental. Id say they're more known for their tech/minimal music more though. Of course this is just one opinion. Either way their's never a dull moment on the weekend in Tokyo.

To add to the list of electro groups,
there are still a lot of American electro that fill keep a fresh sound pumping while still having that electro, pop. (pun intended) Memory Tapes, Passion Pit (More like the Reeling and some others) Wallpaper Some of The xx |

Cheers Molecules, nowadays I can't think of anything better than some filthy electro house while I'm in here. Was listening to some this morning, and I fell in love with it all over again. :D
edit: at the time I didn't think your original post was from January, sorry. |

Made another RAR! Filled to the brim with Electro. I wish I knew if there was a name for this stuff cause it seems more aggressive than the usual stuff. Except for the Calabria bootleg.. that one is Electro House.
