Control those urges! At 20 i've only just tarnished mine, terrible stuff!

I've never really gotten into the pure garage stuff, can't even say i'd know where to begin with it. I'd been an indie rock girl for a good few years, only within the past couple i've started looking to other stuff (rave urges!). Dubstep & funky house really caught my ears.
Trying to resist, want to go out

You'll dig the mix I think, and I'm tempted to up the garage thing at a later date because it really defines real club garage of 1999-2001, sick dubs abound.
Unfortunately you've wandered onto a forum that really isn't massively dance-centric, but dubstep is popular here and people are generally very open-minded and curious about any kind of music you care to name.

But anyway in this thread things that go 'woaow' are the order of the day

unfortunately the only artist I know of is Burial. Although I looked into it, and the reason I was into his music was because of its dark atmosphere, and couldn't really find anyone like what I was hoping for. Is there anyone similar to him?

I would suggest delving more into Trip Hop if you like the atmospheric nature of Burial. Massive Attack, Portishead, Lulu Rouge etc

Has anybody managed to get hold of 'Underwater Dancehall' by Pinch yet? The album came out a while ago now and the anticipation for me has built to the point I might have to buy it haha. All the tunes he's done are as dark as is gets.

Here's a set, Hatcha b2b Benga, it's streaming aswell. Really good but it depends on your tolerance of the odd MC interjection and the silly Kiss FM idents...
I imagine there'll be a tracklisting on the Kiss website
