Acid House (dance, trance, genre, classic, quote)

Somebody on the psytrance thread was up for a mix, so here is a classic one:
VA - House Hallucinates.zip

Acid house was UK synth-heads adopting Chicago house and minimalizing it, obviously it was heavily influenced by the drugs that had begun to circulate.
Trademark wobbly-bass synthesizer sound and tripped out vocal samples included...

by 1988 this genre had kickstarted 'rave culture' as we know it today, and the so-called 'second summer of love'.

any psytrance fans will love this and will recognize it's influence on 'Goa' immediately.

If you have heard of neither acid house, psytrance or indeed dance music this is a good place to start.
