Default Underworld

Where is the love for these guys? If the track BORN SLIPPY from Trainspotting is your only intro to them then that's a damn shame. A consistently great band that are at ease making 4 mins trance blasts or epic ten minute tracks with acoustic breakdowns. Their latest album is once again a little belter and they never become tedious.

One of my favorite musical artists. These guys do not disappoint. Their new album is really, really good. Their live album, Everything, Everything is absolutely stunning.

Some of my favorite tracks of theirs:
Peggy Sussed (Sunshine Soundtrack)
Cowgirl
Rez
Juanita/Kiteless (live version)
Born Slippery

Great choice on Juanita/Kiteless. I love that little two note sequence that is prevalent throughout the track.

Yeah, to tell you the truth I'm not really a fan of the studio version of the song, but the live version is SO good. And the bridge where the guy is singing about "hearing a sound on the other side of a glass footstep" or whatever he is saying. That part is ****ING PHENOMENAL.

*Bump* In a blast from my past I have dug out dubnobasswithmyheadman tonight and it has stood the test of time. It is freaking brilliant.

Gonna dig out 2nd Toughest and Beaucoup later and give 'em a thrash. Class.

New album out on the 2nd. WTF? They wrote songs and then palmed them off to various producers to do what they wanted with them

Sounds like their worst album in years. Initial listen not good at all.

That describes me right there. I love the song though. Any suggestions where to start?

Dubnobasswithmyheadman is an obvious classic but I feel that the first 2 tracks on Second Toughest In The Infants sums up Underworlds sound and clock in at around 30+ minutes for the first 2 tracks. Prog Techno maybe?

These are from Beaucoup Fish and sum the band up to a tee:

Same vocal line but sounding very different.
