Default Something more than rock, help?

Alright, this is almost enemy territory here, and I'm not even sure if I'm asking the right genre group. Anyways, here goes. I ran the line from Chuck Berry to Halen, and it was all rock. Even some hard rock and metal such as black label society. Emo is not my cup of tea, in fact, I find it talentless music, like rap.

However, I recently fell across the Crystal Method, not a band I like, but their Matrix Theme hit me. It was fantastic and beautiful, and I loved it. It meant something to me. I want to find more music like that.

To help you out in determining my idiosyncratic tastes, here are some songs I loved.

Day of Fire:
-Cornerstone
-Through the Fire
-Rain song
Xandria
-anything by here pretty much
Moby
-Extreme Ways
Joseph Arthur
-In the Sun
Jars of Clay
-Liquid
Massive Attack
-Teardrops (at least the name was something like that)
Blue Man Group
-Pretty much anything
Cirque de Solei
-Anything from these people
Battleheart
-The Glorious Battle
Elvenking
-The Loser's Ball

Stuff like that. Sort of symphonic, and though evoking, with a little rock in there. Or at least something with an ethereal beauty to it. So how about some ideas? Come on, how many rock and rollers come to y'all asking for this?
