I think there is really nothing special about this guy. I'm not saying he's horrible, but I dont see whats so inventive about what he's doing. Theres nothing new or fresh about mash-ups, it's not like it hasnt been done over and over beforehand. He's simply the lucky one who's getting all the hype for it. On the other hand, I wouldnt mind seeing him live, I'm sure it would be one hell of a party.

Complain that it's awful if you want because it's personal preference. But "obvious"? There's nothing obvious about the songs he chooses to mash-up. 95% of the songs he chose for Night Ripper had never been put together to before.

Ya know..I can't really get into Girl Talk and I don't know why. I mean, they seem right up my alley, and I can appreciate the talent behind Girl Talk, but it gets on my nerves too easily.

You've been here a couple of months and still haven't learned to search before opening a new thread?

Default Girl Talk.

heard of him? the mashup DJ? all his songs are so catchy. night ripper is an amazing album. it's an hour of non-stop dancing.

that's how he was live. i saw him at all points west in jersey city. he had 50 people on stage just dancing and making the crowd go wild. there was confetti, beach balls, balloons, crowd surfing...the whole shenanigan.
