Depressing computer music?
Maybe it's not completely computer music, but artists displaying their obvious talent on the computer can write phenomenal, tear jerking stuff. I highly enjoy the piano tracks from Aphex Twin's Drukqus. Avril 14 and Nanou 2 in particular. Tommib from Squarepusher's Go Plasic, also on the Lost in Translation soundtrack is good as well.
So I guess I'm just looking for good, not nesecarily ambient, slower tunes with strong melody from some of the great electronic musicians of our time.. Any help? Thanks... |

I'm actually ahuge fan of both those songs, especially Avril14th. Squarepusher does have more melodic tracks that aregreat.
Maybe look at Tangerine Dream, they're amazing and extremely melodic.
