Default electronica?

Ive never heard it really,but I do like the godfathers of dark electronic music. that being depeche mode and NIN.

You could try getting some Depeche Mode remixes. They have been mixed by all kinds of different artists: Timo Maas, Goldfrapp, Air, Danny Tenaglia, Speedy J, Andrea Parker... that covers a bit there.

There's also NIN remixes by Aphex Twin, but supposedly none of the source material was used for the 2 mixes (I love you Richard D. James).

Although not exactly electronic, old Sisters of Mercy had quite strong atmospheres in their songs. And they used drum machines and synthesizers so I guess they're as electronic as Depeche Mode in a way

I have those remixes. the goldfrapp has to be the best one. good to hear

my friends like them. awesome drum beats, probably my second best. The whole *** thing bothers me though. Iam not a *** basher, but I dont want to sing along with there songs if you know what I mean.
