My interest in journal writing comes and goes. Sometimes I guess it's writer's block. I'm sure no one thinks that I have writers block, if anything it's just that it has not been recently updated. My guess is the people who read your journal wouldn't even notice the band choices you are worrying about, it just appears as what it should be when they read it. It could be you are putting more pressure on yourself thinking about how it should be to you. The best thing is not to worry, not to worry what people think you should do, not worry to put your journal aside for a time, not worry about repeating yourself etc.

Or you could do "worst albums I ever heard" or something like that. Anyway, it's up to you. No point doing it if you're not enjoying it.
I thought with my first journal I wouldn't do albums, but to tell you the truth I felt like it wasn't enough information. I thought if I mentioned one song it would pique the curiosity of the reader(s) and they would probably want to know more about the band & at least more about the album the song appears on, whether that is worth a listening. I guess (at least with music) there is a progression of what to cover in a journal: song, albums, discographies, & then a journal dedicate to one genre. I guess you have to find where your interest lie.
