Absolutely brilliant. I loved every word! This might be my favorite entry thus far, and it was precisely the spirit I needed on what has otherwise been quite a solemn Sunday of introspection and disquieting solitude. Cheers to you, Trollheart!

I ****ing hate these new guy's that have taken over Trollheart's thread. BRING HIM BACK!!

Oh I'm afraid your precious Trollheart won't be joining us ... for the rest of his life! BWA HA HA H - what? https://i.ytimg.com/vi/VmpTXYa_l-Q/hqdefault.jpg We didn't? I ... see. I thought I told you to take care of him? You did what? On MY expense account?? http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/...3448694155.jpg I'm sorry Sir, but, well, murder isn't legal any more. This is not Nazi Germany. http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/...20100703140605 Bah! It's what I say it is, Smithers! Very well then! Your precious Trollheart won't be joining us ... for some time. Gaah! It just doesn't sound the same, Smithers. Not threatening enough. https://img.buzzfeed.com/buzzfeed-st...3271-3_big.jpg What? Yes, yes, maybe that would cheer me up... https://media.giphy.com/media/TVCqfX7rLyMuY/giphy.gif Ah Smithers! How can I stay mad at you? |
I kinda gave up the journal because it would eventually get too complicated

Lollygaggers! Chair moisteners! Air wasters! Look at the pathetic amount of updates, and after I warned you last week. Well, you can't say I'm not a fair man; you were given ample opportunity to pull your socks up, and now you will reap the whirlwind of the wrath of Monty Burns! Very well then: I wish to announce the following redundancies, which I will read in alphabetical order: Simpson, Homer. That is all. https://deadhomersociety.files.wordp...09/09/cash.png https://media.giphy.com/media/gqxhoRt6h6Eak/giphy.gif https://checkoutthissite.files.wordp...rns1.jpg?w=640 What's that you say? You don't even keep a journal? You don't know what a journal is? Oh don't worry: you can take your journal with you. Nobody will take your precious journal from you! Now get out! http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploa...ns-320x320.gif http://www.verbicidemagazine.com/wp-...g-backward.gif Attention, remaining salary gobblers! You have now seen I am not a man to be trifled with. I warn you to take heed, or end up like ... like ... Smithers? Ah yes. Like Homer Thompson. What? Oh yes, of course, silly me. Homer Simpson. What is it Simpson? Yes, we will require that you remove all the fillings you had on the Plant dental plan before you leave. See our company doctor before you leave. http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/...20120509073411 Now, as I was saying, this is your last chance. Straighten up and fly right, or feel the strength of my glower power! Journal writers? You can't write journals! No journal writers, you! Bah! I deride your journal writing abilities! Oh well, then, prove me wrong, I do encourage you. (Not bloody likely!) Oh, to Hades with it then! Let's get on with wading through this sub-standard collection of crayon scrawls and desperate cries for help, see if you quill monkeys have actually managed to write anything that might be of vague interest to anyone... http://redgreenandblue.org/wp-conten...ndorsement.jpg It would appear this Batlord chap is into the louder music, I believe they call it Hard Steel? No, that's not it, Smithers, what is it? What do you mean, you're into jazz? Well yes, but this is called something like ... Weighty Iron? Heavy Metal? Something like that anyway. At any rate, if you find yourself stuck in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ite-about.html you'll find him with his nose stuck in some book or other about this noisy stuff, and doing his best to write about it. Asmus Tietchen (isn't that the square in China where that delightful tank rolled over that hippy student? No? Ah.) Well apparently this is http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...cking-out.html, if you feel so inclined. That young Mozart chap is a little too experimental for me. The Magic Flute? Disgusting. Also, strangely arousing ... Ahem! Well, if you career-dodgers want to "check out" what this (Smithers! Hold those air quotes up higher! They can't see them!) this couch occupier considers music, then I'll be damned if I'm going to stop you. Bah. Oh look, Smithers! We have a new amoeba in the gene pool! Well well, come on in, Pat Monahan's Hairy Chest (?) and do display your efforts. http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...absurdity.html. Yes, a weighty, if rather obnoxious title for a journal no doubt to be filled with weighty, obnoxious music. Pygmy Lush? Zhrine? Looks like I was right. Bah! Next! Looks like it's up to Trollheart as usual to take up the slack! Such a hard working author, and a beautiful man, too. http://www.trollheart.com/burnswindow.png In his many journals this week we find him finishing up with the Bowie chap for now and moving on to Thin Lizzy. Oh, capital idea! Leave one dead guy behind and concentrate on another bunch of dead – what? They're not? Lynott only? Well, we can soon fix that with a simple phone call, can't we? Smithers, update their Wikipedia page: "cause of death: got in my way.” If you wish to read about their off-key caterwauling it's here http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...d-journal.html and meanwhile in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...i-reviews.html there's Soul Asylum, Antimatter and .. Evergrey? Smithers, who are these people? Well find out. These Antimatter fellows sound like they could be very useful in my plant. Oh look, Smithers! After your (hahahaha!) antics as a cowboy last week, he's introducing a series of Western films in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ox-office.html, beginning with Clint Eastwood in a movie whose title I can get right behind: Unforgiven. And Evil Roy Slade sounds like my sort of chap too! Excellent! Oh look! He's resurrected http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ver-heard.html with Sinatra, Michael Jackson and Lou Reed. Never heard of any of them. Apart from Sinatra of course. What? Michael Jackson? Black, eh? Affirmative action? You mean, me telling someone "Yes that's affirmative: you're fired!"? No? Then what do you mean..? Ah yes, and some drunken tomfoolery in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...-endeavor.html. Capital. Now then, Smithers, I believe Trollheart left us some instructions. The envelope, if you please. No, that's all right: I'm sure I can – ummh! - it can't defeat .... urrrggh! ... me ... grumpph! --- how hard can it be --- arrrrgghh! Ah, blast it to Hell man! You open it! Feels like it's been sealed with superglue! What? How did you open it so – never mind. What does it say? http://i.imgur.com/eUSUJbI.png?fb Hmm. If there are less than six members updating in any week, ignore “Post of the Week”, “Workhorse of the Week” and “Funny Post of the Week”. Very well then: let's check. Apart from Trollheart himself that's, um, four. So then. No need for all that nonsense. What's left? Ah, he's scribed some missive for us to show on the old magic lantern, yes? Roll it there, Smithers! And don't be stingy with the film! Thirty - no, thirty-two millimetres! Let's push the boat out, shall we? |
http://www.trollheart.com/graveyard2a.jpg
Stepping quietly and carefully, so as not to disturb the ghosts of journals past, we proceed deeper into the graveyard, pulling our collars up against the chill wind that blows through this forsaken barren wasteland. The moon slides out from behind a thick bank of cloud, staring down at us like a pearl eye before being once again obscured by the darkness, and it's as if she has winked at us. We don't quite get the joke, but off in the distance an owl does as it hoots in the gloom. Our boots crunching on gravel, we eventaully reach our destination, and going down on one knee, one arm resting on that knee, the other shining a torch upon the tombstone, splashing pale light across the stone like a spectral hand, we bow our head and look at http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...c-journal.html This journal never got going, and the name of its would-be author is perhaps appropriate, even ironic, given where we are and what has become of this effort. Statistics Journal title: Overcasts' Music Journal Author: Overcast Born: September 25 2015 Total views: 282 Total posts: 1 Posts (by author):1 Actual posts by author (ie not just replies to comments): 1 Died: September 25 2015 Graveyard Ranking: The stone cross is chipped and broken, and any flowers that ever were here are long rotted away into the soil. Clearly nobody visits, nobody cares. Sad. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CE8Ps5nUUAA2P2M.png Well, that was a whole bundle of laughs, wasn't it, Smithers? See if you can inject some levity into proceedings before we go. I know: get drunk and stagger around for my amusement. I have a better idea Sir. https://tv-fanatic-res.cloudinary.co...ithers-pic.png Oh yes! Yes indeed! Do that! Now what was I laughing at again? Oh yes: that crippled Irishman! No, no! It was you, Smithers, dressed as a (choke) cowboy! https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YuoToHKCas4/hqdefault.jpg Ahem, yes. Well, be that as it may, Sir.... http://www.trollheart.com/ygoh.png with Waylon Smithers https://i.makeagif.com/media/4-08-2015/C1DL32.gif Well howdy there par – Sir, could you please stop laughing? It's really putting me off. Thank you. Ahem. Howdy to you fella and ladies again. Whiplash Waylon (Please, Mr. Burns!) here again with mah own personal picks of the good, the bad and ... well not the ugly, but, you know... Not too many young 'uns these days, but ah do declare ah find http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...-too-cool.html to be pretty darn tootin' fine! Definitely worthy moseyin' over fer a looksee. As for the, uh, Old Hands... Ah always enjoyed Mister Sidewinder's lists, even though if'n ah were to see a (Sir, please!) sidewinder ah'd likely as not pop the varmint with mah six-shooter! But this was a heck of a good journal, so much so that it got copied, and well indeed, by Goofle. This was the original though, and in mah humble opinion, the best. http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ar-1965-a.html Sir, I really think we should. No, I know, but he's not here and ... Oh very well. I suppose there's some merit it what you say. Normally Trollheart is too reserved and humble to talk much about his own journals, but as he's not here Smithers and I believe he deserves to be included in this section he created: http://www.trollheart.com/backfrom.jpg After an absence of almost two years, let's hear it for the return of http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ver-heard.html With so many journals to handle, it's somewhat beyond me why he wants to bring back one of his older ones, but then, I suppose the doctors will discover that when .. what? He asked us not to? Ah. I see. Well, anyway, it's back so take it for what it is. That's it. This update is over. Get off my property! Smithers, you know what to do... No! Not THAT! Urghh! Get OFF me, man! Why would you think I would want you to .... https://i.ytimg.com/vi/VVpa9rQkoik/hqdefault.jpg https://media.giphy.com/media/xT5LMv...bHcQ/giphy.gif |
My apologies for my absence this week. I have completed drafting the entries for my new member blog - A Classy B*stard's Nine to Five. I had some apprehension about my boss discovering the journal, but then I realized, f*ck him. I'm already applying to several tech companies for openings as a senior IT specialist, so the days are numbered anyway.
This journal will have posts every Monday faithfully posted at 5:30pm. There are several months of entries already written showcasing the fanatbulous misadventures of an academic Victorian sir trapped in a thankless entry-level job with insipid dolts who somehow manage to walk erect despite their baffling ignorance. And every word of it is true. Should be a lot of fun. Look for the new journal to appear Monday (tomorrow) by 5:30pm. Trollheart - this will be one to watch! |
https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images...8/DCuaKqZf.jpg
Ah yes. I'm afraid they have yet to install an interwebcomnet communique contraption in his packing case, and anyway the coverage is terrible in Zaire - I mean, not Zaire. He's definitely not there. Anywhere but - ah, ah .... Smith-ers!!! |

Right, well this will be short and sweet. I understand everyone is busy and you all have more important things on your minds than your journals, but guys, when I look and see a total of three journals updated, excluding my own, well, it just doesn't inspire confidence, does it? I'm not demanding everyone get on their journals – you update as you wish, I know it's not everyone's first priority, not even mine. But in fairness, if you guys aren't going to put in the work don't expect me to. It's hard to compile an update when there's virtually nothing to update.
So, this week we have Frownland, who's http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...wnapilago.html but really all he's using his journal for this week is to advertise his new album, so if you're interested in that, well, you know what to do. Innerspaceboy is certainly making an effort, with a new journal as promised last week, and http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...rds-9-5-a.html looks like it's going to be a lot of fun, so check out his character sketches and stories about the numbskulls he's forced to work with. This week, meet Dave: he's a special guy. Ki is back to take us through Zelda, Breath of the Wild in a frankly excellent review as http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...is-arcade.html reopens for business; hope to see more from him real soon and then there's me. My idea to introduce http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...n-journal.html seems to have gone about as well as one of Chula's arguments with Frown, so expect it to sink out of sight, but I thought it was a decent idea. In http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...i-reviews.html we have Gazpacho and Gerry Rafferty, while we start another discography project in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...k-journal.html, kicking off with Pendragon's debut. Madonna's Like a Virgin is another of the http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ver-heard.html and finally there's another new journal from me, http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...s-journal.html, with the first episode up and critiqued as only I can do, ie tl;dr. That's it then. If this seems disappointingly short then you know what to do. I'll put a bit more effort into the update when people start putting effort into their journals, ISB and Ki excepted of course. Up to you, guys. Give me something to write about, or else don't complain when there's nothing here to read about. I can't pull journal entries out of my ahhhh that's all for this week folks! Toodles! |
Thanks TH. Glad someone read the review. Spent close to 30 minutes on it.

You left out the part about crafting that was borrowed from other open world games. Anyway, whatever. I'm just saying that if I had, for instance, posted my first Game of Thrones entry and someone had reminded me that I had missed something out, I'd be a little pissed if that was all they were writing. If you're going to say "you left this out" then at least I think you should comment on the good parts too, otherwise it does just come across as nitpicking and a little unfair, considering the work he put in. It always annoys me when I make a big long entry (shut up Batty: if only!) and the only comment I get is a tl;dr or a stupid gif, so yeah, constructive criticism is fine, but I would do that within the framework of also pointing out the good parts in his review. |
I'm not bothered at all by what deej said, because I don't consider my review to be the be-all-end-all. Just talking in the journal would make more sense. I actually appreciate deej's thoughts because I know he's playing the game as well.

The Music Banter Members' Journals Update Thread, April 2017
Due to the overall pretty poor return in updates since I last posted, and while I do accept that some of you are making the effort, it seems pointless to keep doing this every week. Looking down the list I can see something like twelve journals (that's not twelve members; some have more than one journal, and that's not counting me at all) have been updated since the middle of March. That's twelve in nearly a month. That equates to three a week. Therefore I'm now shifting this to a monthly rotation. Until things pick up, if they ever do, I'm going to post the update on the first Sunday of each month (this one is obviously a week behind, but that was due to personal troubles and also the fact that I had not at that time come to this decision) and it will cover all journals updated up to that point. Any new ones will have to wait for the beginning of the next month. If we end up getting back anywhere near where we used to be, I may consider going back to weekly, but frankly I think it will remain this way. It's become a lot less fun to do, especially when so few are contributing.
So, this update, and this one only, will cover all entries made from March 19 (the date of the previous update) to today, but after that it will be as described above. We kick off then with the return of The Batlord, and his new journal http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...s-journal.html, which unsurprisingly features his non-Metal crush, the one and only Ke$ha (and that's the last time I'm using that stupid spelling, Batty) with a review of her first album, Animal. http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...obably-dl.html Goofle tells us, and he's looking at Little Mix this time out. Hey, aren't we all? Stop that! The Identity Matrix is back, and where else would he hang out but http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ix-domain.html, where he's looking at more Coheed and Cambria (of course) as well as showing off his Top 100 albums and checking out the new one from Mastodon. Innerspaceboy has some Modern Classical Highlights of 2016 in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...nnerspace.html and meanwhile he's talking about the frustrations of working with a (thankfully, now ex-) boss who doggedly refuses to be dragged into the 20th century, never mind the 21st in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...rds-9-5-a.html and Ki is also doing his part to keep the leaky good ship Journal afloat, with Kanye West Month coming soon in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...usic-hall.html, Yooka Laylee and Link in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...is-arcade.html as well as an update to http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...iii-story.html while there's more http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...cking-out.html, courtesy of Occulthawk, with Tom Carter, Medicine Bull and some artistes with very strange names... Pet_Sounds has words of wisdom from Richard Feynman in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...crap-heap.html and Qwertyy makes a reappearance after a long absence and he's looking into the new Mount Eerie album in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ramblings.html One journal that's been criminally ignored by me is http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ower-punk.html, but he's been plugging away there gamely, working without any credit, and it's probably about time I mentioned him. Albums from Sorority Noise, As Cities Burn and Ignite (any connection? No? If there is, they should be the other way round, hey?) so check it out. That brings us to me. Even I have not been doing as much as I would normally, so I can't really escape blame either, but here's what I have been doing. http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...d-journal.html has moved on to Prince and Kate Bush in the Great Discography Thread, and then we tackled Death Grips (geddit? Tackled? Grips? :() while there are albums by Pretty Maids, House of Lords, Raven, John Martyn and, um, David Roberts in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...i-reviews.html, then we check out Disney's Pinocchio and Fantasia in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...-cartoons.html before moving on to Max Fleischer and then some more UnAmerican Animation, checking what England and France had to offer around that time. Finally, there's the second episode of the series in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...s-journal.html. And now, for the revamped and all-new http://www.trollheart.com/quillmonth.jpg I really have no hesitation in awarding this to http://www.musicbanter.com/avatars/9...ine=1490502848 for his incredibly in-depth and well-written review of the new Mastodon album. Although I personally don't like the band (or what I've heard of them to date), I have not seen a better review written since Pounding Decibels was last updated, and that's over a year now. Superb, and well deserved. You can read the whole thing here. http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ml#post1818943 As for Funny Post https://cdn1.thehunt.com/app/public/...ea419579cc.png of the Month well, it's found its way into my sig, so it's a shoe-in for this one from Violet: Quote:
Huh? Beer? I mentioned free beer? Oh you're right I did. You know what, I'll just slip out to the door and see if the delivery has arrived yet. Yeah. I may be some time. http://debanked.com/wp-content/uploa...21789377_S.jpg Till next month, Toodles! |
The Music Banter Members' Journals Update Thread, May 2017
Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to say farewell to our dear friend Trollheart and his journals. We will miss him and hope he rests in peace. Please stop laughing, there at the back, and put away that ipod! Show a little respect!
http://37.media.tumblr.com/7d0d47335...fceeo1_500.gif Yes, I'm one day early but the update is meant to go out on Sunday and we're in the last day of April, so here we are. For those who don't know/aren't interested let me just confirm that all my own journals are now on permanent hold while I turn my attention to writing my series of fantasy novels in an attempt to become the author I know I can never be. Don't expect any updates for the forseeable future, but feel free to check in on what I've written over the last five years or so and comment if you wish; I will respond to any comments, I just won't be writing any new stuff for a long time. I'm sure you'll all find a way to help each other through this very difficult time, and my thoughts are with you. As a result of this, I'm going to omit my journals from this update, and all further ones, though I have posted in a few of them since the last time this was updated. As for the rest of you? Well, let's see what you've been doing while I've been knee-deep in maidens with long flowing blonde hair, heaving bosoms and the odd sword... We've all known for a long time now that http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...l-pleases.html, and so he does, as he returns to his journal for the first time in a while, and gets back into his talk about wrestlers while also reviewing Snapcase, Samsara Blues Experiments and some of Ki's music. Oh, and Keveltrak. A new journal starting up this month, his first ever, comes from Aloysius who's into dat Spanish music and dancing, and tells us all about in in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...o-journal.html. Don't know what Buleria or Solerea are? Think they're exotic flavours of ice cream? Step right this way, my friend. Why not try http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...r-journal.html as he explores one of the other loves in his life: the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems? He's kicking off with what is, according to him, the perfect beer... Goofle reminds us http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...obably-dl.html, this time it's Liz with Just Like You and another new journal, though not his first, as we take a dip into http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...enre-dive.html, with synthwave up first, featuring Pertubator, Wasted Doom, Mitch Murder and Carpenter Brut There's more suffering through the manners and mores of an office that's firmly rooted in the twentieth century (circa 1978) in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...rds-9-5-a.html and everyone's favourite commie is back as Isbjorn reopens http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...seur-cave.html to take a look into the music of folk legend Woody Guthrie. Kanye West month kicks off early in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...usic-hall.html with reviews of 808 and Heartbreak, Yeezus and, rather surprisingly because he's never ever mentioned liking it before, but there you go: Life of Pablo! Or if computer games are more your thing head down to http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...is-arcade.html where he'll tell you all about Flinthook . On a more serious and sombre note, there are more personal musings from Ki in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...iii-story.html. Back http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...c-odyssey.html we welcome the return of Mordor, and he's looking at Bowie, Sufjan Stevens, Flaimg Lips and more. Oh, and getting into dark folk. Apparently. Back too, after a year and a half is our own Suzy Creamcheese, now reverted to his former identity and known once again as Oriphiel. He's taking us into part two of http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...rgy-story.html, which he's calling Sweat and Stone. Check it out. Someone's actually taking up my idea and using http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...n-journal.html, and it's rostasi, who's looking at The Residents. Finally, we have http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...t-you-yac.html as our esteemed Super Moderator joins us in Journaltown to share some of his favourite, possibly obscure, Polish artists, such as Męskie granie and Maciej Maleńczuk . Welcome Yac; your name (and the absence of Zero) means you get to close this update out. :thumb: So, who's going to be my choice this month for http://www.trollheart.com/quillmonth.jpg I'm gonna give it to the “new guy”, who certainly seems to know his stuff as he opens his first journal: http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ml#post1822946 As for Funny Post https://cdn1.thehunt.com/app/public/...ea419579cc.png of the Month Well, much as I hate to go to the obvious candidate, I really did laugh hard at this double insult which showed up in Violet's journal but is from our own rsident jester, Batty: Quote:
http://www.trollheart.com/backfrom.jpg Yes, after eighteen months and a name change,um, back, Ori returns with the long-awaited (maybe) second part of his disco story with aliens and gangsters. Um. Next you'll be telling me Batty is writing the next episode of Return of the Kings of Metal! I honestly don't have a lot else to say. My own absence from the journals section will keep me a little less interested in what goes on there, but I'll be keeping this update, well, updated every month, so kudos to those of you who have made the effort and we'll see you all again in June. Till then, Toodles! |

The Music Banter Members' Journals Update Thread, June 2017

Ah, June! Summer is just around the corner: here in Ireland you can tell by there only being six and a half days of rain. Enjoy it while you can. For a whole month there hasn't been a terrible amount of activity here, but then I have suspended all my journals while I concentrate on my novels, so who am I to point the finger? http://www.reactiongifs.us/wp-conten...nking_dean.gif So let's see who has been putting in a shift over the last month. No, I told you, I'm writing ... oh, forget it! http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9...hag9o1_500.gif And we kick off as http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...l-pleases.html and what he pleases this month is to review Courtney Barnett, Alanis Morisette , Run the Jewels and rather a lot of Soundgarden. Next up is “Flamenco Guitar Albums you have to hear” in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...o-journal.html, with Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Rafel Riqueni, Manolo Sanlucar, Tomatito and more. Also "Palos of flamenco part three: Alegria" A rare journal from Exo, who doesn't do journals, but this time he, well, is. http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...d-section.html brins us the Stevenson Ranch Davidians, Haisuinonasa, Living Hour, Covet and more. http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...r-journal.html is one thing. Getting wasted with style when you're broke is quite another. Frownland slavers over Dogfish Head (huh?) in “The Drool Section”. Yeah. Now, http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...obably-dl.html, one of which is Belle and Sebastian's Tigermilk while http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...nnerspace.html include the Orb and Moondog, while there's more making fun of the less technologically savvy in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...rds-9-5-a.html. Seems Kanye West Month didn't last. Degenerated, or developed if you prefer, into a discussion about the trashiness of the cover art on Life of Pablo and then Ki gave it up. He's also talking now about Chris Cornell, all down in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...usic-hall.html, while 20XX gets the treatment over at http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...is-arcade.html. As if that wasn't enough, there's also http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...an-do-you.html with Daniel Bedingfield, Ryan Cabrera and Devin Townsend. Finally there are more deep musings, along with some pretty cool pictures, in http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...iii-story.html. There's so much to take in when Mordor's http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...c-odyssey.html that I don't have time to write it all down, but talking Mike Oldfield, Sufjan Stevens, Catherine Ribeiro and Tim Buckley, as well as a whole lot of prog rock. http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...cking-out.html include Kristoffer Alberts/Lasse Marhaug and Cabaret Voltaire, courtesy of Occulthawk. Oriphiel continues the story of http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...rgy-story.html and also has a new journal, http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ove-story.html, which is proceeding nicely. And Hey (!) (:)) http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...t-you-yac.html wraps it up for this month, with an interesting exchange between Yac and Batty, see below. Someone, well, Frownland, said Neapolitan is one of the funniest members on here. I don't see it personally, but that's just me. But once again the winner of Funny Post https://cdn1.thehunt.com/app/public/...ea419579cc.png of the Month is pretty much the undisputed jester of the forum, our very own Batty, who when presented with this video in Yac's journal came up with this response: Quote:

Goes to Mordor for this gem, which succinctly demonstrates what stuck-up cunts we prog heads can often be: Quote:
