Thank you. That really makes all this work worth it, and I mean that.
And no, I haven't: in fact if you look, you've been nominated for an award...

Damn TH, thanks for the award, though I don't do it to get awards, I do it for my fun, but the thought is always nice

Great mentions all around and congrats to the winners. I always give my all to whatever I decide to review about, so I've always had a thorough admiration for you Trollheart: I've never seen anyone put as much effort and passion into writing about albums, artists, movies, TV, etc. that you do. Hell, you even give the stuff you dislike or aren't into an extensive level of attention when it comes to detail...and that's something we could all learn from I warrant.

Excellent frogging work ol' chum, and a premature Happy New Year.

Just like Ki stated. I don't write for awards/recognition but because I want to and for fun. Thanks for all the work you put in anyways TrollH.

Thanks for the mentions my friend. I've been virtually non-existent in the journal dept but it's always nice to get recognition.

I now present to you the MB Journ-A-Licious Award. A sidebar entry for the tireless effort of a contributing member. The nominees are:

1.Trollheart

...and the winner is... Yep. You guessed it! TROLLHEART!

Read through the Newest or Youngest Journal category now, it warms my heart to see my journal mentioned among those that achieved semi-greatness

To those who won, congrats!

During the last few months, I have been going through what I may think of as a "Final Maturity" which means getting a lot of information plus memories - this includes getting a crapload of information of Grindhouse films playing in the Detroit area in the last decade of the Grindhouse/REAL Drive In era (Yeah, real Drive Ins still exist, but do they show stuff like The Alien's Deadly Spawn on a regular basis? I think not!) plus more accurate information about that decade I grew up in called The 80's for the Ghost Mall Music which includes the best of personal memories...as well as gathering up more more more for my Rare 60's journal. Maybe I did not need to go into Journal Hibernation, but I felt that it was right, and getting re-connected with a lot of memories and even getting classic ad scans of the era only added to the fun of researching. The recent Ads and Photos From Rock Albums thread in the Classic Rock section of this forum has shown to be a one-man show, sadly, but maybe it has proved something all along that The Mall Must Be Built.

PS, I know that this is mainly about music, but as a long time fan of 60's-80's Horror, and with a serious dairy of Fridays in Metro Detroit's Grindhouse Movie arena from 76-89/Early 90, I have been dreaming of getting my Movie Blog The Scene of Screen 13 established on MB. I think there's a TV blog by Trollheart if I'm not mistaken. Can that be done here? I think that there's fans of low budget Martial Arts flicks and crazy cheap Horror films around here like myself.
