Tyler is definitely the most talented member of OFWGKTA, but I'd say Earl is still really talented and comes in close second. Hodgy Beats is probably third for me. I kind of want to review their mixtape Radical later on in this club.

I was fairly convinced I wouldn't enjoy what I heard, but was actually surprised to find otherwise. I really like Earl's skilled flow and I do hope he will still be able to rap so well after he's matured a little bit. The lyrics weren't bad, but as one review I read while looking up the album said: "It comes off as sophomoric at times, but he was 16 at the time of recording... so that just makes sense".
I recommend Stapleton, Pigions, Earl, and Kill. The beat on Stapleton really exemplifies what I mean about the interesting production. I think it's very experimental. The same can be said about a lot of the beats. Almost dubstep-like. I'm lookin forward to checkin out Tyler, the Creator... Last edited by Mrd00d; 01-07-2011 at 01:51 AM. |
