well the Kendrick + TNGHT was absolutely horrible hahaha i feel like he couldnt flow on that at all unless he took his time. that beat was something Danny Brown would freestyle on cus he digs thoes beats. also the TNGHT tracks that Kendrick freestyled and Captain Murphy rapped over were different haha.

Nah, I was saying Captain Murphy is good, but nothing special (even within similar styles of artist/music) whereas Death Grips are great (even within their style of music).

death grips is novel certainly, but i feel like someone who can fundamentally change pure hip hop while retaining what makes it great deserves just as much credit as someone banging on drums and calling it the next sound
