i'd say if you want an introduction into the group, start with their mixtape Radical, cause it really gets you in to their overall style and function as a whole, even though they're rapping over other artists' beats. The Odd Future Tape is pretty good too, and unlike the previous one has original beats and production.

after that, Tyler, The Creator's Bastard album as well as Earl Sweatshirt's Earl are essential, and MellowHype's YelloWhite is a really good edition. if you find yourself liking all of those, go for the rest of the group's albums (Domo Genesis, Mike G, Hodgy Beats, Frank Ocean, The Jet Age of Tomorrow)

and the good thing about those albums is that you can download them for free off of their website

also, what did you guys think of OF's performance at the MTVu Woodie Awards Show, here's video in case you missed it

They are already wearing on me some. Some good metaphors and some funny stuff but the violence and rape lyrics don't do it for me. I know they are going for that crazy type of style with a lot of killing and violence and generally just weird stuff but i don't like it. I don't think I'm a fan of these guys but I'll still listen to Goblin and see what I think. Basically there's small parts I like but as a whole I don't like them much

i'm more into them for the overall style than just what they say for shock value. the beats, atmosphere, lyrical flow, etc. so i guess your milage could vary depending on what you focus on.

also, here's an interview of them at the Woodies. much lulz are to be had here XD
