Does anyone listen to this guy? He's pretty offensive. He raps about raping and killing women, cutting them up etc.
Is there a point where rappers go too far with lyrics? The only thing I like about him is his deep voice, he reminds me a lot of Eminem circa Marshall Mathers LP. Look at this video he hangs himself in it: The song about rape:

I think it's a surrealist kind of tool for his music, or at least his older stuff. Kind of like the rape in Blue Velvet - that wasn't satirical, nor was it affirming that rape was ok, it just represented some horrible aspect of the character. I think most of Tyler's topics and motifs are more surreal than real. Plus, his latest album has very little raping on it.
