^not sure if serious, but if so then no way. jersey has a couple things going for it over many of these ****ed up and boring states.

Dude, North Dakota. Cold as ****, nothing there, and I'm willing to bet money the hick people who live there are as close to Alabamans as makes no difference.

I like Minnesota. The twin cities are pretty cool, the people are nice, lots of good music, lots of focus on art and theater, and the palisades are beautiful.

If you take away the cool parts of any state, yes, that state would then be less cool.

fair point. i had forgotten those cities existed tbh when i said minnesota i was just trying to think of a cold dreary state and it came to mind. i thought about saying michigan too. but like batlord said north dakota seems worse anyway so don't worry about it minnesota is in the clear.
