Further, we have not yet (as far as I'm aware) had a community vote that mods cannot partake in the same general rule-abiding freedoms as the members of this site. In the event that such a thing happens, I will gladly adapt to such a ruling.

As far as a general "lead by example" concept which I think is what you're getting at, you do have a point. If it is more appropriate that I sugar-coat my opinion in a thread specifically designed (by me, btw) to create an environment of total honesty by all, no matter how circle jerk or not, then please officially submit such a request to me or any of the other mods and we'll discuss the implementation of it as necessary.
