How do you even get it up?? How is it not weird to meet someone for the first time and 5 minutes later you're fucking? I can see if maybe you were drunk (but in my experience drunk sex is really, truly unpleasant and it seems next to impossible to have a decent orgasm) and not thinking clearly... or you're just strange.

Years ago one of my exes had totally screwed me over but it had not been openly discussed with his family, so when he moved away for special mental treatment, his mother thought it'd just be a great idea to drive me 300 miles to stay in a hotel with him over a weekend. We didn't have sex because I didn't even want him touching me. Any amount of respect or kindness I had for him was totally gone at that point, and some weeks later he picked up a stranger (a male escort) and that's when I decided it was done. Maybe I'm just selective or I have a more specific line of criteria that I require before I let anyone near me beyond a handshake, let alone sex.

I just don't get it. Why have sex with someone you'll probably never see again, or never talk to beyond smalltalk, or never have a reason to know or spend a lot of time with? Why not just masturbate?

It would definitely be physically awkward if you didn't have a feel for their touch in a non-sexual manner firsthand.

Some of us would just rather be loved, I guess.
