Seems to me like in that situation you're basically taking all the credit for everyone else actually making an effort to advance the causes you're so fond of, while you sit on your goddamn ass.

I fail to see how engaging in attention seeking behavior by constantly telling everybody who will listen about things you probably made up in your own head in the first place is revolutionary.

I never said I'm not trying to change anyone's mind - it's more that I'm not willing to argue with people who remain willfully ignorant on any given subject. Furthermore, I refuse to spend my time educating someone on an issue they don't know anything about in order to argue with them.. it's the age of information and I think it's the duty of individuals at large (circumstantial, of course) to utilize the resources available to them.

I'm talking day-to-day arguments here, btw, I exert a minimal amount of energy arguing ethics and lgbtq+ issues with your average forum-goer, I save that for my career in academia. However, like I said, I do revel in calling people out for being *******s.

She likes homestuck and fun things, and really dislikes people co-opting the trappings of genuine social causes in order to trivialise them for their own benefit.
