To be fair GB didn't know he was dead and to change his opinions based on Howard's death in my opinion would be more wrong to do so. You don't need to lick his ******* because he is dead ffs.

It doesn't matter if GB knew or not. As a side note I really don't know how to take what GB said either, maybe he was venting or maybe he was being humorous. But it's not about bad timing or even what he said it's why he said it. There are things he does that looks like he's brown nosing, it's as if he picks up on who isn't like then goes after them. That incident seems like another example, he seen what others said about Howard and repeated it. I don't know if he's really doing that but if he is he should just chill. And telling a person to chill out isn't the worst thing in the world.

Honestly, this is a no win situation for me.

I didn't like him, I said I didn't like him, it turned out he had died. I blanked my nominations because I felt it would be in poor taste to keep them, and hypocritical to replace them with others.

That really should have been the end of it (And honestly, worse things have been said about him since by other members, but usually with some tacked on apology about how people "never saw eye to eye" with him but "wished they'd gotten to know him better"), but by having some kind of public debate over what I've said, what are you expecting?

As FETCHER said, I think a lot of people's sudden shifts in attitude towards him is incredibly hypocritical. And here, you're basically accusing me of not being able to form my own opinions. I could defend myself, but that would mean taking time to explain in specifics why I didn't like Howard.

In other words, well done, you've managed to take a potshot at me, knowing that I actually can't defend myself without taking shots at a dead man.

That's awfully presumptuous to assume that people suddenly shifted attitudes because of his death, how can you be for certain that people didn't always think that way? In light of what happened, we're focusing on the positives, nothing wrong with

Made a comment on him back in January of this year:
