Oh, hell. I'm going for it. In no specific order: Blue: Upon meeting this guy, I thought he was overly-sensitive and too wordy. He hasn't been around much, but after a few good PM exchanges, I've grown to miss him. Though I'm unsure of how our musical tastes will collide, he's one of the first I got to know on here. I think he's a lot of time misunderstood and dislike because he stands be what he believes, but that's what I dig about him the most. Pobodys_Nerfect: I love his taste in music, and not so much because we've much in common (musically), but more so because of how ecstatic he is about the music he loves. He is unique in not only musical taste but personality as well. One of my favorite posters. Kevorkian Logic: Our taste in music are very similar and we live only a few hours away from each other. For this, I believe she'll be the first, in not only MB member I'll meet. I enjoy her pictures almost as much as I look forward to her intelligent and witty posts. toretorden: He's one of the few members and the only moderator that makes me feel uneasy. Not that I dislike him, but a debate we had (I believe it was in the Legalization of Marijuana thread) left a sour taste in my mouth. At first, I thought it was because we disagreed with each other, but now I'm just not sure. I still keep my mind open with him and try not to let my negative feelings impact any potential posts we may exchange. TheBig3KilledMyRainDog: I enjoy most of what this member has to say and love that he can be a **** sometimes. I'm not too familiar with his taste in music, nor have I exchange many posts with him. On that note, to be continued. Molecules: We briefly brushed by each other with intros last month, but haven't spoke to each other very much since. Perhaps I've missed the Ween thread, but he's the only member I know of who likes them, too. I look forward to more contact with this guy. Patton: I dug her a lot at first for her appreciation for Mike Patton. Since then, I've been kind of annoyed by it. I think she knows this, though. I still look out for her posts from time to time. sleepyjack: So, I watched this fellow for awhile before I dare quoted him. He came off as feisty to me, but I've learned to pick up on his wicked sense of humor and I love it. Though I sense he loves to debate and know that most people dislike him for this, I fuckin' dig it. Roygbiv: Another warm welcomer. He and I seemed to hit it off pretty well right off the bat and I enjoy his posts very much - especially the Colour-Coded Album Reviews, but it's possible that the pretty colors keep me distracted for quite a long time. I always look forward to what he has to say musically. Savannah: I'm not too familiar with her musical interests and that bothers me quite a bit because this is a music forum. Her wit and humor ALMOST makes up for her lack of contribution to the music threads. All jokes aside, she's the first chick on here that wasn't bitchy to me just because I have a vagina, too and I love that. For those of you who think that doesn't happen amongst the few girls on this site, it's probably because you have a dick. Urban Hatemonger: His sense of humor never ceases to surprise me. He's truly one-a-kind. I feel like I rarely bump into him on the boards, but when I do, we seem to create great comedy. Now, if I could just get a sense of what type of music he's into ... lucifer_sam: Ha, yet another member I steered clear of for awhile. Mainly because his sarcasm is barely detectable most of the time. His fondness of Tom Waits was what did it for me, though. Veridical Fiction: God, what a scumbag. I kid, of course. This guy underestimates himself a lot, I feel. Not only does he offer good advice, but he's into some pretty decent music, too. Because we joined around the same time, I kind of feel like he's my partner in crime around here. From the Sexual Experience thread to infamous MB chat room, I've concluded that that he can be one bad MF; however, I will most like never tell him that directly because he will just start posting more feminine pictures. ja-ha: Oh how he loves his beard and close-ups. He's eclectic taste in music was one of the things that initially kept me around here. Though I get sick of seeing his furry face plastered on the MB walls at times, I love reading his posts - especially when he gets all moddy (yeah, I said it) on us. right-track: He's super nice, so that leads me to believe he's hiding something from us ... Like an unconscious body in his basement. Antonio: Our taste in music is pretty identical. Aside from that, I really like that he is determined and warm in welcoming all the new members. Janzsoon: All initial fuckups and Vietnamese slaves aside, this guy is a great addition to the mods and really enjoy talking to him. dreadnaught: I've not talked to her much, nor do I know much about her. What I DO know is that I'm all her's. Actually, I'm a little familiar with how young she is AND her diverse taste in music and she gives me hope for people her age. nonsubmissivewife: Another female that welcomed me with open arms (and a whip) to the site. I don't know whether I should be jealous or appreciative of her vast knowledge of music. Surrel: Another young one that is way ahead of his time. His hate for kids with cancers and hippies makes me suspicious, though. Perhaps he prefers cancerous hippies? Phew, that is all for now. Because I feel totally judgmental and bitchy now for all that I've just written, I think it's only appropriate to add this: 333: She can be a little too confident for her own good. Far too often, she believes that no one feels like she does and forgets the beauty of simplicity. The internet makes it far too easy for the ill-tempered little girl in her to not surface. Lastly, aside from the strange sense of humor, she can be quite the pervert as well. Wayfarer: I get the feeling he comes off as a ****head to a some on this site because he most certainly came off that way to me when I first read his posts. More recently, I've exchanged words with him on MSN and PMs and I think he's another member that's just chock full of sarcasm (did I really just say that?). He's the only other person on here I know of who respects Bill Hicks and that's pretty righteous on it's own. wolverinewolfweiselpigeon: I'm somewhat familiar with her musical interests, but I'm not quite sure if we have anything in common in that area. ProggyMan: I've always liked this poster. He's young, but knows his ****. We haven't really talked too much though. Judging by his name, I think we may have a few things in common musically. cardboard adolescent: Another member I've barely talked to, but have liked from the get-go. I always look forward to his posts, but there have been times when I've thought he was being kind of a ****, but honestly, what good poster isn't a feisty sometimes? He stepped down from being a mod within days of me joining MB and that's a damn shame. RezZ: Great poster, but MIA lately. SATCHMO: I probably can't say anything about how I feel about him that he doesn't already know. We've one of the most open, honest relationships between two people I've had in a long while. Musically, we've many things in common, but most of all, I turn to him for new tunes. Mikey is a great friend and I wish he'd post more in the music thread! boo boo: I was told by someone to beware of him, but I find him to be very kind and likable. Plus, he's got one snazzy suit. |

sweet nothing: He has given me so many albums, introduced me to so many bands, and made me laugh so many times. Our taste in music is very, very similar, and I consider him to be my very best friend on this site.
adidasss: I have always been drawn to gay boys and Marijan is no exception. He's cute and sassy and we have similar taste in music. dac: I think that we would be friends in real life. I can see us hanging out at a party, talking about music and astounding everyone with our knowledge and wit. Oh, and he introduced me to Olivia Tremor Control so major cool points for that. dreadnaught: I don't know much about her general music taste (because she won't conform to the ways of lastfm!) but I love her for this: YO LA TENGO. She's one of my favorite posters because she's smart, funny, and just has an air of cool about her. fasho: It's been said before, but I'll say it again: I wish I was as mature as he is at his age. I found Iron & Wine because of him, and he's shared a lot of albums with me. If you can get past the fact that he has lice he's a really cool guy. janzoon: One of my top 3 favorite posters. He never fails to make me laugh, and I'm happy he was made a mod. lucifer sam: It seems like a lot of people get pissed off and annoyed with him pretty easily, but I enjoy his brutally honest posts and his solid stance on things. molecules: If you ever need somone with excessive knowledge of good pop music, you should turn to this guy. He's incredibly smart and funny, and even though he might get offended easily, he gets over it quickly. pobodys nerfect: Anyone who sends me albums without me even asking for them is awesome in my book. (I just downloaded the Smalls album, I'll report back soon.) comus: His radio show is awesome, his album reviews are fantastic, and the few times I've talked to him in the mb chatroom he won me over with his intelligence and sense of humor. Even in his hateful posts toward Radiohead he makes me laugh. roygbiv: I love his album reviews, I love what he does to my pictures, and I love his sense of humor. He's so obviously a nice guy, and I always look forward to his posts. savannah: All hell will indeed break loose if we are ever together. Savannah has an amazing personality, and there is no one quite like her. I love when she logs in at night because you know she's drinking and you know you're in for a good time. sleepy jack: Another of my top 3 favorite posters. His intelligence is sometimes intimidating, but in a good way. When I first signed up here I thought he was gay, so I was drawn to him, but upon further discussion I learned he's just fucking feisty and I love it. I'll never meet another person quite like him. thrice: One night on aim + bunch of drug stories starting with "I was all fucked up over this girl" + a lot of laughs and innuendos = my first encounter with Nick. I haven't seen him around lately, but I hope he comes back soon. He's got good taste and an awesome sense of humor. toretorden: Here we have the final member of my top 3 favorite posters. I adore his personality, his in-depth repsonses to things, and his ability to disagree without losing his cool. He's incredibly easy to like, and absolutely genuine. veridical fiction: I have no idea what music he likes, but I find him hilarious and insightful. His posts are always honest and he makes interesting threads. PMO: WHERE ARE YOU?! It's really starting to piss me off that you're not around. (Lol geddit?) I've liked him from my start at this forum, and even though we're the same age I feel like he is far superior in intelligence. We have kind of similar taste in music (lastfm rates us at "high") and I've always found him attractive, both mentally and physically. big3: I have never really talked to him... but I've wanted to. I find him pretty intimidating, but at the same time I think a lot of what he says gets misconstrued. He's pretty snappy sometimes, but I haven't been a target so I can't complain. He's a really talented writer, and I love that his reviews are unique and full of voice. coryallen2/darkest hour/mirrorball95: I really fucking hope you all disappear. surell: Well, I liked him at first. I adopted him as my n00b but I must have done something wrong because now everything he says gets on my nerves. alfred: I've bothered him for several albums in my time here, and he's always sent them with a smile(y). I agree that he's the nicest poster here, and I enjoy his posts. fireincairo: My favorite contributor to the songwriting forum, and one of my overall favorite members. I haven't seen him around lately, and that makes me sad. 333: This girl... I like her. I don't know anything about her music taste, but due to the sexual experience thread I know a lot about her sexual preferences. She cracks me up and I like her fiestyness. right track: His posts never fail to entertain, he's always witty, clever and classy. When I joined last year he taught me all about winrar, and now I feel like I owe him so much. So thank you, RT. jackhammer: I don't know what I can say that hasn't already been said about this gentleman. An incredible collection of music, and an overall nice guy.

K I'll do a few.
Right-Track I don't really know him, but he seems allright. Urban Hatemonger One of my favourite members and one of the very few that can actually make me LOL (and usually does). Jack Hammer We don't seem to interact as much anymore, for some reason, but I do remember once talking to him through private messages and he sent me a link to a site that pretty well single-handedly got me into reggae/dub. As far as the whole music section goes, he's one of the more...useful members on the forum. I hate to use the word "useful" but there you go. Sleepy Jack I'm pretty sure he knows he's one of my favourite posters. And I don't mean poster on MB, I mean I actually got him to send me a picture once so I could print it off and get it blown up to billboard size for my bedroom wall. TheBig3KilledMyRainDog I find that the less I post in the "serious", political forum, the more I like him. Whatever the reason, I've been posting less in the "serious", political forum, so lately I'm liking him more. Seems like a few people consider us both to be arseholes, so that might have something to do with it. Y'know, a classic case of putting two arseholes together and ending up with little but shit. Janszoon Similar to right-track: I don't know him very well, but I can't recall him ever saying anything that...erm...irritated me, or anything like that. toretorden Seems like a smart guy to me, tough to debate with, from what I can remember; part of the reason I, these days, simply read his posts and fend of the feeling of having to reply. Boo Boo boo boo is underrated. Fuck the haters. Not really though, I like most of them too. Dreadnaught A girl that can actually make you laugh is harder to come by than you'd think, these days. Has a very "genuine" quality about her... y'know, the type of person most try to surround themselves with but only a few get so lucky. Is apparently very good-looking, but I've yet to see a photo of her. Seems very cool anyway, I like her. 333 Could give her about the same description I gave dreadnaught. One of the few MBers I've spoken to outside of the forum, though I've not seen her online since. C'mon, I'm not that bad with first impressions, am I? Seltzer For some reason, I've found I often get along far better with women than I do with men, and these days the only types of guys I can honestly say I enjoy hanging around with are the really laid-back, chilled out ones that tend to be completely content spending a Friday night with a joint or a beer and a good album. Seltzer always seemed like one of those, to me, so I like him. The type of guy I could imagine myself being friends with in "real life". SATCHMO Another one of my favourite members. I hardly know him at all, but I always thought it so fitting that he had a Residents avatar because his posts remind me of them, in a way. Often proves that utter randomness can still be funny. Veridical Fiction Is he new? I'm pretty sure, but it feels like he's been here awhile. Either way, he fits in very well (while still contributing and standing out), seems pretty funny and, like myself, finds great merriment in some of the forum's more ironic posts. I like him. Comus He's one of those people that you like but you're not sure why - as in, if someone were to write a description of their personality out for you on a piece of paper, you'd imagine yourself to dislike them... but for some reason, you don't at all. I guess some just have it in them to make normally awful traits endearing, kind of like how some of the noisier bands out there make normally awful sounds endearing. Let's say that Comus is a real Mars Volta of a person. savannah I'd write about that one but I spent far too much time on this post to risk it being deleted. I will say that perhaps I've only misunderstood her. Everyone else seems to like her. Alfred Another cool guy. How old is he? For some reason, he gives off the impression of being a younger teen that acts far more mature than most that age do. ProggyMan People used to rip on him like hell and I was genuinely surprised he didn't just leave the forum, but as it turns out, it's a good thing he didn't. Everyone seems to think he's allright now and that'd include myself. Vanilla I've only interacted with her through a couple of private messages, but during our regrettably short exchange, she did come off as one of the movingly nicest people I've spoken to in some time. cardboard adolescent Probably has my favourite username of anybody on the forum, and has always been one of my favourite posters. Kind of like toretorden in that he writes posts that I love to read but hate to attempt to respond to. RezZ I wonder if he's into Kyuss at all, because of all the people on here, I'd say the psychedelic, desertlike atmosphere of Kyuss' music reminds me most of him. Like Seltzer, he's someone I could easily imagine myself being friends with in "real life". |

Thanks very much. I have been busy starting my life (i.e. getting a job, moving out of home), and have only been dropping acerbic comments every now and then. I'll drop some more lyrics in. Might do one of these today or tomorrow.

To me, Cardboard Adolescent doesn't seem any smarter than the next guy, but his logic is cryptic. It forces you to stop and wonder whether you didn't understand him because of your own inability or his.
He's really the only e-person I know who is capable of that. When you finally understand what his base point is, you realize it's something simple that's piled beneath somewhat of a distracting collection of metaphors and sideways observations. I don't know if it's intentional, but it's not very efficient. If it's just his way of speaking, then who can judge him.

he isn't steeped in rhetoric like a lot of other serious posters here and he still maintains intellect and care with what he puts forth.

Right-Track
He seems to cop a lot of flack from the newbs, so he's probably doing a very good and honourable job. They are often in need of a good whipping. Urban Hatemonger I don't generally see eye to eye with is views, but he is consistently amusing. Jack Hammer An intensely nice guy with a great expanse of musical taste and knowledge. Has helped me out many times with tunes. Sleepy Jack Full of the kind of adolescent fire that gets me hard. TheBig3KilledMyRainDog I like him, he's got a great 'arsehole' streak. Janszoon Good depth of knowledge, but haven't really interacted so much in a while. toretorden Haven't been on here that much since he joined (unrelated) seems like a nice smart guy. Boo Boo I don't think Boo Boo and I have ever agreed on anything barring one time, and I can't remember what that was actually about...but he's great. Everyone needs a token progger, and how boring would it be if we all agreed on everything. Seltzer Seems pretty chill. SATCHMO Funny short posts...don't really know much else. Veridical Fiction Seems a bit like a jockish arsebag? i don't really know though. Comus Sometimes I like Comus....and sometimes I think he's a pretentious maloderant of a person. At least he's interesting. savannah I really don't know anything beyond the orange tanned, pouty/cleavagy myspace-esque shots in the member's gallery. Alfred Really young and still sporting some immature tastes, but to each his own, he's a cool guy. ProggyMan Another young'un but has become a great poster. Vanilla Seems kinda saucy but nice, reminds me a hell of a lot of my girlfriend. cardboard adolescent A intelligently reticent and sparing poster with excellent taste. I think I downloaded every album in his top 25. RezZ Seems interesting __________________
