I laughed at that one, I guess stereotypes are funny if they're specific to a person who happens to suit it. Don't mind me, just hyperanalyzing comedy over here.

Well yea, I think that's a totally reasonable reaction. There's a difference between an expression of a negative perception and harassment. What I'm more speaking to is a default method of removing negative perceptions about oneself from the mouths of others by creating an environment where they don't exist. At least, that's what I was talking about when I responded to the post I was originally addressing.

I think he's referring to people constantly harassing someone, whereas I was responding to a user's post about automatically ignoring (or otherwise extricating themselves from the vicinity of) anyone who says anything negative (presumably about them).

It's two separate things entirely, in my opinion.
