i can understand some people having issues with the way the world is cause it's pretty ****ed up tbh but the more you see the more you sorta get used to it and the less it seems to matter. i mean it becomes really interesting more than anything else and you start to care less about random suffering cause you recognize it as part of the system.

Also just a note of philosophy, I'd personally rather hear people say how great they think they are than how little they think of themselves. I think I generally get along better with people who actually like who they are. Low self esteem is ****in annoying.

Self esteem is great. It's easy when you're good looking to have it though. When you're not considered beautiful by the masses it's not easy for a woman to think highly of her looks. Judgements affect people no matter how much they say it doesn't.

In my case I have pretty high self esteem but am still human with my occasional moment I don't feel hot as usual (pms usually). I am a self admitted attention seeker so enjoy the appearance comments. I actually get nearly an equal amount of comments related to my personality (i.e. nice, good mod, w/e) and my music taste.

In terms of the members gallery, people post pictures because they want physical feedback on their looks, man or woman. Not all, but most. There is nothing wrong with that. Most of us are all friends and we care about each others opinions.

My main problem with Freebases comment isn't about him objectifying women but the fact that he used the word tranny as an insult. It's pretty pathetic and sets back the transsexual community. I don't give a **** if he thinks I'm fugly, he's on here like 3 times a year or something and is usually drunk. He comes back to try "stir things up" in the community and everytime he does it he tries to blast me. What does that say about him? He's holding some gripe against me. I'm not sorry that I don't fit your ideals of what a woman should look like. My unique look is what makes me different amongst the sheeple.

YorkeDaddy: I don't think I've ever seen the guy post anything positive about anything. I wouldn't doubt he's a more approachable person in person but over the forum it's almost like he waits to post until something he doesn't like comes up.

JWB: While I disagree with all of them he does make some interesting points in favor of his views. I wonder if he's the type of person who will always been cynical and aloof or if he'll change. Dunno how old he is but he also strikes me as smart and on the younger side.

Freebase Dali: Maybe he was trolling. Maybe he was wasted and made a fool of himself (been there bro). But some of the comments made, especially about WWWP and Vanilla, were in pretty bad taste. Rarely see much of him but that post made me think much less of the guy.

I don't know if it's any consolation, but Mankycaaant does that to other people too. I witness Mankycaaant attacked Mondo in plug. But anyways seriously Mankycaaant reminds me of Aunt Norris from Mansfield Park, no lie. She/he seems like the type that gets upset at people having a good time, and likes to nit-pick on people. I think he/she doesn't like people feeling good about themselves or people getting along with each other either. I don't know why he/she is like that. :rolleyes:
