since people have no problem pointing out to me that my outlook on things makes me seem heartless i'll just go ahead and give you the other side of the coin. when you show serious emotions over what i consider petty **** it makes you look weak to me.

i mean you can frame it however u like but basically it boils down to you get hurt more easily than i do.

People who are actually affected by things around them end up having to put up with a lot more than someone who's closed off emotionally. We might get down more than others but if anything the fact that we manage to trump through it all makes us tougher. Not that it's a competition or even remotely important to be tougher than anyone else in any way... usually, anyways.

kind of confusing since i would get through it too just with less agitation. it's like saying women are tougher cause their pain thresh-hold is lower. really the opposite is true. i mean i can admit being more emotional probably has some benefits but you can't seem to admit that not being so sensitive also does.
