P.s I've been a bit down in the dumps lately, so I work, come home, have a few drunks and reply to every post. Recently I decided that was self destructive behaviour and tried to change it and get out a little more, like the good old days. It's worked, but I expect to reply to every post again soon. Depression >>>>>>> having a life. Having a life is overrated. Oh, and I like you. Nothing more, nothing less. I just like you. |

Okay and now for the boys. Same shallow observing-from-a-distance type reviews apply to you too.
Gavin B. Who is this guy?!? If Shakespeare had written music reviews they would only begin to rival Gavin B's. I have gotten SO MUCH great music out of his journal its unreal. It has really been responsible branching out and maturing my musical tastes a bit and thats exactly the reason I joined musicbanter. But he is very mysterious, strictly business. He is extremely smart and seems well educated and very well traveled and cultured and old, but I don't know any of this for sure. I'm mystified by this guy. Urban Hatemonger I've talked to this old tom cat outside of musicbanter a few times. He's cool but nothing to write home about. Bulldog An English gentleman for sure. Very well spoken. He fits the bill of the witty little Oxford scholar that I imagine all 20ish English boys to be like. He has given me and recommended me some real gems. The Cuban comp = pure gold. I can't thank him enough for that. AND THE GUY LIKES CLASSIC COUNTRY. Mr. Dave For some reason I always find myself arguing with this guy. But I thoroughly enjoy it. I bet he can play a million different instruments. boo boo I don't talk to him much, but I read a lot of his posts. I really like him and I even whether he is right or wrong I always find myself rooting for him during his emotional escapades. I find him funny, and I'm often amused at all his issues. Like his grandma finding his bald chick pictures. So anytime in my life I see a bald woman walking down the street, I will only think of boo boo. And I also like him also because he knows how to push Urban Hatemongers buttons. jackhammer One word: COOL. Thank goodness for musicbanter because I would have never been able to meet him otherwise. Loathsome Pete He has led me into a genre I never thought I would dare venture in entire my life. Electronic. And I am so thankful for it. I feel he contributes some great fresh music to the forum, like the Gothic country. I thought I knew everything there was to know about country until Loathsome Pete came along. I'm humbled by you. Janszoon Whenever I was a green horn to this site, I spouted off something really rediculous about the music industry and Janszoon called me on it and it embarrassed the shit out of me. I hated him for about a month after that. But soon after I couldn't help but find him the enjoyable and funny guy he is. And I also didn't spout out anything rediculous about the music industry after that. Thank you. Right-Track Bloody football players, bollocks and rotten Liverpool, Nothern Soul and Mancunia. Thats what I think of when I think of Right-Track. He's a funny guy, no doubt. But I'm far too scared of him to actually get to know him. Violent & Funky I find him rude. So when I ran across his picture in the gallery, I was contented to see he was no James Dean. Tore I like him. He seems like a very clean cut type of guy. And I like that he is all scientist-y. And isn't he from Norway? Also cool. SATCHMO Never ever said a word to this guy I don't think. But I do appreciate the humorous comments I run across every once in a while courtesy of him. He is a respectable man of the forum for sure. And love that he loves ol Louis. Yet- its not like I would fight him off of anything- but rarely do I feel the desire to get to know him better. Freebase Dali The guy is a wit. And sharp as a tack on technology. Thanks to him I can listen to my ipod in my car. TheBig3 I have to say he's a cutie and I think his journal is one of the best. I get him. And most of the time agree with him. Plus he was the only one who posted in my kayak thread so very long ago. Alfred Good wholesome kid. And exactly what I envision a teenage Canadian chap to look like. Khfreek Our musical opinions clash greatly and I think he's a bit of a punk. And I still think Muse sucks. Molecules/Anteater My mind just correlates these two guys together for some reason. The both are very clever characters, always with great avatars, and they both have very adventurous taste in music. I'm intimidated by them because they are so cool. So I will probably never talk to them. Unchained Ballad Sorry, but I scroll past everything you say. Doesn't mean I don't like you though. Antonio He is a good spirited friendly person. I like him. Yet he's definitely not one to stand out. I think its because he is mild mannered. But I think that is a good thing. James You can tell he is young. But thats not a bad thing. Everybody rags on his avatar, but I rather like it. Fight the power! Seltzer Definitely one of the more established music reviewers on here and I always like to read what he has to say even though I never comment on any of it. |

keith! Without a doubt my favorite member on the entire forum. Great guy, and everyone should engage in a lengthy conversation with him.
boardsofcanada: I did her already but my opinion has since improved. She is way more... "with it" than I was at her age. Unlike me, she came into this forum with an pre-installed appreciation for MB's "sacred cows". Friendly kid too, and great Top 50 thread. BoardTracker: When I die, I will die happily, knowing that BoardTracker was always there, watching over me.

It means a lot coming from a poster with such revered taste and actual input. The crush deepens. Thanks.

That hurts my feeling's more than anything, I dont think I will ever be able to post on the MB forums again. You know, if you dont have anything good to say about another person, then maybe you shouldnt say anything at all. |
