Heh, my mom raised me on Elton John, Billy Joel, the Cars, the Police, the Beatles, the Bee Gees, the Stones, ZZ Top, Nazareth, KISS, Alice Cooper. Those were all on regular rotation in my house.
My dad listened to pretty much everyone who played at CBGB's, Talking Heads are his favourite. Also REM, Pixies, Husker Du, the Replacements, and 70's metal like Black Sabbath. Plus jazz and classical. |

That wasn't that bad, try growing up with this kind of music
All my mother listened to were cheesy power ballads and she loved Chicago and Journey. To this day Pete Cetera's voice makes me wanna cringe my whole body and take a dump.
