I guess I'll do this alphabetically, as I always do. So...
Anteater: just the coolest marsupial you'll ever meet, with a really wide taste in music. No, I know anteaters aren't marsupials but it sounds cool. A really friendly guy who seldom has anything bad to say about anyone and is always ready with a rec. Batlord: My bro, even though he thinks I'm a girl thanks to my music tastes. A real metalhead but you'd be surprised at some of the stuff he listens to (!); a great and creative writer and it goes without saying one of the funniest people on this here forum. Never know what he's going to say next. Briks: although sort of new he's already carving out a place for himself here. Really nice guy and a good writer; his journal is starting to come along. Good sense of humour too. Butthead aka 216: Adds a real sense of fun to the forum, though his avatar perfectly complements his writing style: I always feel he's in a rush to say what he has to say! Rubs some people up the wrong way, and some think I like him because he blows sunshine up my skirt apparently. Not true. I think he's almost what HHBH could have been without the hatred, the intolerance, the anger, the sarcasm, the .... Winner of the most awards and nominations in 2013, so that must say something! Also love the way he refuses to rise to Sansa's bait. Apparently. DJ: I try hard to like him but he always seems to want to fight me. DJ, sometimes when I direct a comment at someone it's not up to you to jump in and defend them. You always seem to take the slightest excuse to argue with me and then accuse me of doing what you do! Have to say though you really know your music and you're a really good writer. Just try to tone down on the attitude and we'll be okay. Engine: Gruff and uncompromising, always seems not to like me but really knows his music. Definitely gives the impression of not suffering fools. Will not be drawn into drama. Exo: Another one who's had a hard time this year. Exo is a real gent, and don't even try to challenge him on movie trivia because he is a god in that sense! Just an all round good guy, and does not deserve the **** he has had to put up with this last year. Frownland: A really cool laidback guy with shall we say different music tastes to mine? Sorry about your album man: hope it sells well! Jackhammer: Will always be my number one. The only guy to support me or talk to me in my original stay here, the first to welcome me back when I returned. He's gone through some awful times recently and I guess that's part of the reason why we don't see him around as much. But I miss him. Absolutely encyclopaedic knowledge of music and I doubt there's a genre or subgenre he doesn't know about, or listen to. James: A great member, much missed and glad he's back. Also love his avatar; that dragon always looks like it's saying “Yes?” Janszoon: One of the nicest and coolest guys you could meet. Always ready to help out, varied taste in music but doesn't look down on those who don't share that taste like some people tend to. An excellent writer; should be a professional. Definitely my favourite mod. And one of my favourite people here. Junkyard Donner: Steph does not like me, but she has been through some terrible times this past year and I just hope things get better for her. She seems to be bouncing back, which is good, and she's one of the most underappreciated writers here. But I still don't know what her name means... Ki: An all-round good guy, Ki is an excellent writer and as we saw in the awards ceremony two weeks ago one of the hardest workers in the journal section. The beating heart of the section, I believe I described him as, and so he is. Also a very honest person; his admission that he crossdresses was done without fanfare or a sense of centring attention on him, but was nevertheless a brave move. It must have been hard to “come out”, as it were, and he did it with style and grace, and without any trace of self-consciousness. Love this guy. Mojo: The guy has a heart as big as the ocean. It's a pity he doesn't write more, as he is one hell of a writer when he gets in the mood. Neapolitan: Still don't know enough about the guy to formulate an opinion of him, but he likes some good music and he's into prog, doesn't seem to get too caught up in drama so that's good. Most people seem to like him, so he must be doing something right. Plankton: One of the most talented guitarists I have ever heard. Ever. Plankton deserves to be filling stadiums and selling millions of albums. Hopefully some day it will happen. A great guy with a huge heart and a lovely family. Warm, personable and slow to anger. Great humour. I miss your old tiny avatar though. Powerstars: Like everything about the guy. He's funny, he's clever, he has an interesting taste in music and never stops trying to convert me to the Beatles and/or Nirvana. But he loves Bon Jovi, so we have to stick together, as there are not many of us will admit to that! Rjinn: Sucks that her leg is broken. Really nice lady and I hope things begin to turn for her this year. Sansa: No comment Taxman: One of our best newbies. From having heated arguments with him on his journal I've come to understand him more, and am really getting to like him. Sorry that he feels so alone, but I hope the community here helps a little. Good sense of humour, but why pick a username everyone is going to hate? Urban: When I first got here there was a fat old bastard sat in a chair mouthing platitudes. And Urban's still here! Seriously, this guy is unique. Cutting sense of humour that almost always makes me laugh, a way of getting right down to the heart of the matter and **** anyone's feelings, and a real zero tolerance policies towards idiots. That's me screwed then! Unknown Soldier: The man to whom has been entrusted the task of creating the forum's repository of knowledge on heavy metal and hard rock. And does he know his stuff! The amount of work he puts into his journal almost equals that of Ki, and that's saying something. Differs in opinion with me on certain subjects but that's ok. A very approachable, laidback guy who is a massive, and I mean massive asset to the forum. With the Batlord, truly a heavy metal/hard rock god. Vanilla: Do I really have to tell you how I feel about Jess? You all know. She's a lovely lady, always ready to help, great humour, sexy as all hell and friendly as a Care Bear, but twice as cute. Yeah we know Trollheart: you love her. Change the record. Um, no. YorkeDaddy: An amazing musician and composer, he was kind enough to let us watch him and his partner create their album, and what a trip it was! Hope it gets the attention it deserves. I miss that he's not around here these days though. That's all I can think of at the moment. if I left anyone out it's because I didn't think you were worth wasting time giving my opinion on. Nah, seriously: if I forgot anyone I may edit or add to this, but these are the people who came first to mind.

BTW sorry I forgot you in my upcoming post. You too are a cool guy. How can you not be, being a Waits fan? It's the very definition of being cool without having to prove it.

Thanks for the kind words, TH. You're a cool dude too and even though I don't discuss it as much as I do the crazier side of things, we do see eye to eye on things like Waits, classic metal/hard rock groups, and prog (for the most part). As far as my albums selling, that would be nice, but I'm in it because I'm passionate about the music since it has a small audience.
Janzsoon and Urban are tied for my favourite mods because of their music taste, they're great contributors, and there is always something to look forward to when they post. butthead - check out my last sentence as an example on how to use the right form of "their". DJ - Sparks discussion for better or worse, which I guess is a good thing in the long run as it leads other members to contributing. But goddamn dude, you either like playing devil's advocate too much or you talk yourself into believing some silly things. With that said, I still think highly of you.

Thanks for the words, Trollheart! Feels great to be accepted on the forums.
Frownland: Knows some obscure (and sometimes disturbing) music, plays some interesting stuff in plug Gigantic Debaser: He's from Norway! That's definitely a plus. Also, he's often on plug. RoxyRollah: You can find her on plug and in the Lounge, one of my favourite new members, along with... Taxman: Likes the Beatles, and is not afraid to admit that he likes Green Day, too. He has become probably my best friend on the forum. Also, his journal seems to be getting places.
