Since we're all being nostalgic, I really miss everyone mentioned above as well as dac, sweet nothing, BTown, Piss Me Off, and in contrast to the majority of the rest of the forum, boo boo. They were all eccentric in their own way and usually tried to keep music discussion alive.
Christ, five years on this forum shouldn't make me feel like an old member, but half of my friend's list is a graveyard.

I think I really enjoyed being here when I joined back in 2008, it just feels almost empty and/or lonely here these days. There definitely is a hint of sadness I get from being on here these days, maybe it's because the people I used to be besties with have moved on, and I have yet to do so.
This goes out to Ethan, Kenny, Molecules, Dankrsta, ska lagos sun ra, Jack Pat, Dave, Barondude, Coming Up Roses, right-track, Starving Artless, and whoever else I can't think of right now. I miss all of you. |

I haven't been on much lately (at least compared to the several months before getting my job) but I like the same guys. I don't pay much attention to who is new but yeah, most of the people on here are really cool.
Still wishlist basically everything Urban posts, still read everything Jansz/Pete/Manky etc. post in the music section and still enjoy whatever Rez has to say. Top fam = DJ, Ped, Herm, Steph, Neap, Paul and all the other Pluggers

Thanks Goof! I will now detail a list of people who it is a joy to Plug with, and apologize in advance if anyone is left off.
Deej and Goofle are excellent Pluggers, very tolerant of what others choose to play, and they make a good effort to introduce new items to people who might not otherwise listen to them. Because of you guys, I picked up The Roots' Tipping Point and The Sound's Jeopardy, which are two of my favourite Plug finds. You're both very casual, and it never crosses my mind to think twice of what I'm playing when you're there. I'm grateful to Hermione for always being available to Plug, not giving any ****s if I just want to sit on the sidelines and chat or observe other chatters, and for using Plug to share some excellent television with me that I otherwise wouldn't have looked into on my own. Gunnels, Sequioidiea*, Exo: I truly enjoy everything that you guys play in there, and when I make the effort to impress people with picks, it's you guys I do it for. Stephwieselpigeon. For all of the above reasons. A short note, but one which is very important, friendmate! * Though I stared at it in the memberlist for a solid minute, attempting not merely to paste your name, Alex, but to respectfully memorize its spelling, I gave up because I just couldn't do it. Sorry. |
