I can only interpret the fact that my post was not approved, and that all of Hermione's were, as the moderators deciding to make a public display instead of treat the thread consistently one way or another. This is especially perplexing as this is a quality-controlled thread, which is obviously being controlled in favour of drama/naming-and-shaming at the moment. You can publish that, because it's an actual gutspilling.

I was joking to Canwll though, because him and I are friends and I assumed he wouldn't take me seriously, however I was also making fun of myself for taking it so srs and I was well aware I snapped at dj for it because I assumed he knew better. However, being that username was picked because it was the pet name given to me by an abusive boyfriend is really gross to make light of, that's all. Just like if people accidentally call me Dayna, I don't get really angry b/c that's what I've been called for 23 years and that IS as of this posting still my legal name.

Being that I don't know your life story and was unaware of any particular history relating to your old username, it's a little absurd to hold some kind of grudge over me thinking you were joking when you said you were joking, is it not?

I know that though, that's what I'm saying, I made the mistake of thinking that it would be interpreted as a joke because I've never said anything mean to Tim in my entire life, however I don't bear you a grudge over my name, but rather that you thought it was okay to be dismissive of my opinions because of my drug addictions, which I assume you've heard about b/c I'm very open about my mental illness and drug problems.

I was poking fun at myself when I said that to Tim, because it was established that I overreacted towards Andrei on the matter of my name.
