Normally, I'd just pass this sort of drama by and not bother with a response at all, but considering the potential depth of this particular situation and to lend some support to GB, I just want to write that I agree wholeheartedly with mojo's most excellent post.

I don't think of them as lording over me with their avatars, but I definitely sympathize. No member should have an avatar that expands the avatar/user info area to vaginormous size. It looks bad and demonstrates laziness, ignorance or a complete inability to simply resize a picture.

Column width is a pet peeve of mine. I've adblocked more than a few people. Others are welcome to do the same.

Major **** storm happened when I talked about avatars (there's even a tag on this thread saying i'm butthurt) but now nobody gets offended when it's brought up again.
