The World of music according to rockguitar101:
The Stone Roses: Ok. don't care for it much, I guess it's ok for other people. So I won't comment more. Paul McCartney Paul McCartney is very talented almost like a jazz man on guitar. The Aquabats they're good, yet have a ways to go, I wish then the best Pop Music: some real great guitarist and keyboard players in pop music, they are very skilled also in Jazz and classical music even though they don't perform it much. So yes there are great ones in pop music... Britney Spears: I don't think her fan base is still growing much, it's sad what has happened to her life. Maybe some day she can change it all around The Beatles: I was never impressd by the beatles much Bloc Party Very good recording, real raw they'll be even better next time out , wait and see !! Blur/Oasis: I think they were stoned too much to be great. Or they were playing drunk. Just sounds that way to me. My Bloody Valentine I think they did a good job but are over rated a bit also. Kenny G: Where is he today It's funny how young people today call the old artist of yesteryear awefull. It doesn't make anyone believe it any more though Who knows how I would view the music world without his insights. |

Is that from that list of guitarists he had? Cos it was copied from Rolling Stone. I wouldnt expect him to know enough about half those guitarists to form a sound opinion. |

i really can't say much
threads like this one sort of scare me because i'm afraid that if you knew my favs and what i honestly think about some of these other bands you'd jump/flame/hate-on me and because i really don't have a lot of experience with all these different kinds of music i'm left without a leg to stand on in any debate or discussion each of us has a right to like what we like and to feel the way we feel about, well, everything you could give these newbies a break they are new here why don't you just explain how to use the forums? |

In the end I had to dissect every seperate part of his posts and give concise explanations of how and why he was wrong. After I did that he has not returned to that thread but HAS started this one to bitch about the way we don't like his attempts at spamming. ---------------- Now playing: Ayumi Hamasaki - Depend on you [Dub's Electro Remix] via FoxyTunes
