I agree on almost everything you said in those reviews.
but i do feel that DSOTM is a great Pink Floyd masterpiece, but it would've been better without this extremely exaggerated commercial success. It kinda brought it down a bit; when you are part of the huge mainstream, something feels wrong. I did like some tracks in the post-Waters albums, but I felt that the Pink Floyd dark atmosphere has vanished with Roger Waters leaving the band. The good tracks, seemed only aesthetically good, and nothing deeper.
