I don't necessarily think he's going to be president but this almost feels the same kind of cultural paradigm shift. I will say the whole "he'll never win!" counterargument feels particularly unconvincing after watching what happened with Trump. Especially when it is backed by nothing other than conventional wisdom and a lack of imagination.

I think Kanye will get bored of this whole campaigning for President thing in a few months and he'll move on to something else

I think he's been entertaining the idea since 2016. I dunno how much follow through there is gonna be either but again I don't even think the prospect of him becoming president is even the most relevant concern.

Yeah he's a dip**** on a craziness bender but he's allowing others to come in behind him and do the Jewish Question by saying "Now I don't agree with everything Kanye said BUT he is asking important questions.

I've kept up with this pretty closely, but I don't think I remember Kanye asking a single question lol

What? No. The Jewish Question (aka the JQ) is an old antisemitic trope where anti-semites ask "What is to be done about the Jews". It's come to mean just being an antisemite bringing up Jewish conspiracy theories. My point is that Kanye being so publicly bold and abrasive about it gives less open anti-semites the opportunity to do the JQ by bringing up Kanye and distancing themselves from his explicit statements to look more tolerable by comparison but also decrying his being censored by (((the media))).

I'm aware of the JQ and what you meant lol, I was just making a joke that Ye isn't really asking questions and trying to learn anything, he's mostly just making dumb and ignorant statements and walking off shows (like Tim Pool's) when he gets any pushback.

yea and it's more than that imo
It's not just creating room for people who already agree with him, I feel like guys like AJ are incentivized to say **** "Jewish mob" again and again just to stay in Ye's good graces. That's the dynamic that is happening, pundits who want to cash in on the spectacle but keep an arms length distance from endorsing what he's directly saying. But Ye is so relentless he won't tolerate too much pandering or attempts to create caveats. To the point where he's telling Alex Jones directly to stop attacking the nazis.
