T1J is on Youtube. Here's how I found Hasan. |
@jwb, I know you like the drama content, you ever watch ChudLogic?

Well here's the latest from an interview he did I think today with Gavin McGinness - telling Jews to forgive Hitler and let it go.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Kanye/comme...and_to_let_it/ Other notable quotes - and I'm guessing these are all right, but I pulled them from one of the commenters from the subreddit - I haven't seen the whole interview myself: Quote:

You know there's much said about the bull**** coming out of Kanye's mouth these days but one real thing is that he has shown himself to be perhaps the most viscerally unlikeable public person on earth. Trump is hateable as **** but he also has a certain charisma that makes him hilarious, but Kanye is just purely unlikable with no redeeming qualities to his personality. It's kind of astounding just how much he projects sucking as a person.

Yeah he'd make a great cult leader
|
I mean, before all this went down, he basically was a cult leader, no? He had all those religious gatherings and 'sermons' during his Jesus Is King era and he even had his own school, the Donda Academy.
|
yknow, honestly when I heard about Kanye's first tweet, the "death con 3" one, I legitimately thought he'd wake up the next morning, delete the tweet, and send an apology tweet or something saying he was on ambien or something, like Roseanne. How wrong I was.

I also disagree that kanye is wholly unlikable with no redeeming qualities.

Even battys favorite podcasters from Knowledge fightwere talking about the life of Pablo like fan boys. To me he's always been over hyped in rap.
But yeah I think people want to have it both ways on pathologizing him on the one hand and yet on the other it's like he's still evil for being antisemitic even if we talk about him otherwise like he's not capable of being rational. There can be no normal empathy because the culture war always takes first priority. But whatever else you want to say about Ye, he's actually genuine in everything he's saying to the point where he's willing to burn is billion dollar career to the ground. I have to admire that. |

Kanye as a personality has almost always courted controversy though. He's long come off as selfish, narcissistic, ego-driven, etc. Fans of rap generally wouldn't care much though because he'd be dropping banger after banger. What we're seeing today is that personality amped up to 10 and run through a weird alt-right fever dream. And after the tepid release of Donda and the complete disaster that was Donda 2, he hasn't released a great record since at least 2016. Quote:

One thing that sorta amused me on Twitter was seeing conservatives quote tweeting journalists who condemned Kanye and accusing them of hypocrisy cause they wrote a positive thing about him way back. "You praised a famous artist before he came out as a Nazi" is, in their minds, a gotcha because they've always known better than to have a positive opinion about a black rapper.
