Well done folks, well done. I don't think I've ever seen Star Trek referenced in a religious joke. |

It's all good, I knew you mixed those up it was just really funny so I went with it! :D:p: [QUOTE=Lisnaholic;2211091] OOPS! Getting old means making dumb mistakes more often than you would like! I must have confused your join date with your posting date. Sorry about any confusion I've caused in your thread, gandhara. :( |
Pretty long phase if I'm 39 and have pretty much the same beliefs since I was 15..

I don't think most Pagans believe literally in the mythologies of their favored paths or cultures..They're treated as legends and stories about their gods. "Traditional" Polytheists definitely believe the gods themselves are real beings, just not the stories, at least not literally....though there may be some parts that we take more literally, it varies from Pagan to Pagan. Other Pagans actually don't believe they are real beings but more like archetypes. Wiccans for instance generally believe in Two High Deities (apart from all the various lesser spirits), a God and a Goddess, and will lump all gods and goddesses as incarnations of their highest two.
