I'm fine here in Germany but worried about my family in Ukraine. My uncle, his wife and younger son live in Odessa and it looks like the Russians are advancing on the city. So far they seem fine though. Glad my older cousin is studying in Germany, he's 20 and would be conscripted. The younger is 14.
This is all very ****ed up. To be honest I thought that the talks about Putin preparing to attack during the last weeks were mostly the US warmongering. Not that I like Putin, or wouldn't expect him to be ****ty, just that the US has a bit of a history.

Nah, I'm fine here. I'll even be in Iceland for the next two weeks which is probably a pretty good place to be in case of a nuclear war or something...
My aunt and cousin will try to get to Germany, hopefully there'll be no problems with that. They apparently already left Odessa. My uncle is staying behind. He's under sixty, so couldn't leave anyway. Don't think he'd want to, though, he's pissed. Hope Odessa will be more or less fine, apparently it's pretty difficult to reach by land nowadays.
