You have about 6 out of 10 from one party who collectively believe:

- A Satan worshiping cabal of pedophiles runs the USA
- Covid is a hoax
- The 2020 election was rigged - even Trump's Supreme Court were in on it
- The vaccine is a ploy for...... (depends who you ask)

Not just one or two of the four. ALL OF THEM at the same time.

Add this into the mix:

As of the most recent cross sectional poll, 15% of Americans believe in Qanon.
Ask everyone and they'll say that getting accurate numbers is impossible because so many aren't willing to admit it publicly.

Lets' say Republicans make up 35% of the electorate. (folks have been leaving the party steadily every month since January 6th)

Not going to do the math but 6 in 10 ain't very far off.
Plus there's a whole new swath of folks who identify with Qanan, "but not the crazy parts" - whatever the **** that means.

Read the other day that Christian churches across the country are being torn apart by the ****.


Plus, Qanon has been smart and have incorporated regular white grievance issues into Q's manifest - which has caused it to grow a lot.

I mean it's not so much that white grievances have been incorporated into QAnon as it was always a repackaged version of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories about Jews kidnapping Christain children and using them in dark magic rituals. It's more or less the same **** as the Satanic Panic of the 80s and 90s but turbocharged.

I imagine most people who've gotten on the bandwagon don't know all that **** and are just desperate for an explanation as to why the world is garbage, and a fun mystery story where they get to be detectives is more enticing than actual reality.

This **** is indeed ****ing terrifying, but it's not actually as terrifying as 15% of people believing in literal blood libel.
