Yeah presidents have been saying we'll get out of Afghanistan for years and it never happens. It's smokescreen to boost their popularity and nothing more.

Biden is literally just continuing Trump's border policy and it's bull****.
I also think is minimum wage plan is trash too. First of all $15/hr is what we needed 10 ****ING YEARS AGO. Now we need $17/hr. With Biden's time line we will progressively up the wages until 2026 where we will get the full $15/hr. By that time the cost of living would have risen about 16 years past when we should have gotten the $15/hr. Absolutely better than nothing but we'll still be playing catch up with the cost of living and that's if Republicans don't find a way to stop the bill before it happens.
