There's nothing wrong with the Eagles. Great band.

I think even Elph would agree that the Eagles were basically the Three Six Mafia of the '70s.

So I guess you're right in an accidental way. Eagles didn't do "standards," they left that all up to Jazz. You could say the Eagles are in fact the the definition of not having standards.

maybe I'm missing something but what's so great about them exactly? Every song I click on by then sounds generic classic rock as hell.
