^ Yes this issue seems to be really hurting Biden, even though:-

(Obviously an old graphic, dating to the good old days of $4.66)

Do voters think that by not supporting the Dems, the price at the pumps will drop? I think they may be in for a disappointment.

I think they think the reverse. Vote for the RepublicNazis, get someone like Trump or DeSantis or the resident madwoman, MTG, in, they'll reverse American policy on Russia, cozy up to Putin, Putin will say "Aw, I can't hold gas supplies from YOU guys!" *blush*, America will be able to buy Russian gas, prices will drop and the rest of the world can **** off.

Didn't I already wonder how the response to the war would have gone had Trump legitimately won a second term? I think we all know what a prick who says "this is Europe's problem" and who is bum-buddies with Vlad would have to say.

US exports even more oil as domestic gasoline and diesel prices spike

Quote:
U.S. energy exports are booming at the very time domestic gasoline and diesel prices are at or near their peaks. With America’s fuel prices expected to rise even further, the “resource nationalism” debate — should we be exporting commodities we need? — is heating up.

According to new tanker cargo volume data from Kpler, U.S. crude exports averaged 3.13 million barrels/day (b/d) in January-May. That’s the best first five months of the year ever. Exports of clean petroleum products — including the diesel and gasoline in such high demand domestically — averaged 2.32 million b/d. That’s the best first five months since 2019, pre-COVID.

^ Petro-chem giants gonna do what petro-chem giants gonna do
I thought the phrase "at or near their peaks" was interesting as petrol prices always trend upwards over time, don't they? If so, they are perpetually "at or near their peaks" I suspect. Today's peak will be tomorrow's "Remember when it was only...?"

Yes, that's true, TH, though I might've used more circumspect language
But yeah, hard to be polite about Trump, who by his own admission said, "Oh, wonderful!" when he heard the news of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

It was reported on a local news site that Trudeau and Johnson were once again trying their hand at stand up comedy, mocking Putin's shirtless horse back pose. It wasn't mentioned if Biden participated in the act. I'm guessing he didn't.

https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/trudeau...many-1.5963785

I'm not sure openly mocking someone like that is a good idea. It's not the first time our prime minister did that. I remember him, Johnson and Macron talking smack about Trump while at some conference.

As for the gas prices, our leaders don't appear too bothered by it. They don't seem bothered by inflation either.

I hope they prove me wrong.

Ah, bollocks to that! The time for circumcision is over. We have to grasp the root of the problem and hold the prick to account. He's just a wanker and he may think he's going hard on Ukraine but his war is just a load of balls. He expects us to all bow down and give him head...lines, and while that may take spunk, he's just trying to shaft us all. Bit of a cock-up if you ask me. Urethra stories about the latest attacks? What a dick.

I'm just taking a shot in the dark that you've never played Skyrim.

That would be an accurate, even a head shot.
So explain if you would.
