Economic insecurity fuels hatred even if the fascist may not realize it.

But kind of along jwb’s lines there’s ****loads of combinations that cause people to be what they are

Even I understand that not everything is about class in other people’s minds. It just aggravates the **** out of me because I believe so strongly that wealth redistribution is the answer to pretty much ****ing everything. It wouldn’t eliminate racism but it would take most of the power out of it.

There's other factors at work there. The inherent tribalism of a population that feels its privileged status slowly chipped away at.

You don’t think there’s rich and middle class muzzos that want to nuke Austin?

I thought we were talking about hicks? How do you define a hick? I thought a hick was poor country folk.

Mother****ing precisely. The class with something to actually lose but without the cushion of failing upward.

And for another parallel with the Islamic extremism analogy.. a lot of the biggest terrorists come from wealthy, educated backgrounds. It's all a power struggle.

Not really. They might hold that position but they care way more about maintaining their position on the social ladder unless they're ****ing nuts.

I couldn't tell you but I'd assume those people don't have any interest in being the foot soldiers for Islamic extremism but really love the idea of having a lot of fun being warlords just like rich European colonialists who love the idea of galavanting around Africa being "explorers" or starting coups as a hobby.

Without wealth redistribution “equality” just means the white middle class joins the disenfranchised.

It’s baffling beyond belief that it’s so hard to vilify the wealth hoarders.

Case in point, people actually hate the people who raided congress more than congress themselves. I mean, sure, hate them both but ffs don’t get your head twisted about who the real murdering fascists are. BECAUSE OF **** THEY'VE REALLY DONE.

Do you know how many people died today because of America’s behavior rubber stamped by both parties in congress? A lot more than ****ing five.

Osama bin laden was rich as ****. Ayman al-Zawahiri was an engineer. They both gave up opulent lifestyles to go live in a cave in Afghanistan and wage jihad on the west. If you don't think they were firm believers then you don't know your ****.

There were studies that showed that on average ISIS recruits from the middle east were richer and more educated than the average citizen in their country of origin. There's tons of Saudi millionaires who are funding the spread of the whole wahhabi message and islamist groups and madrasssas around the world.
