Gov. Ron DeSantis is endorsing President Donald Trump’s fight to hold onto his job, floating the idea that GOP-controlled legislatures in battleground states won by Democratic nominee Joe Biden could appoint Trump electors and override the popular vote.
DeSantis, one of Trump’s close Republican allies, declared Thursday on Laura Ingraham’s show on Fox News he would stand with Trump as the president’s re-election chances dimmed. He urged viewers to donate to Trump’s legal fund and suggested people living in battleground states with GOP legislatures, specifically Michigan and Pennsylvania, contact their state lawmakers who could provide “remedies.”

The head of the branch of the justice department that prosecutes election crimes resigned monday hours after attorney general william barr issued a memo to federal prosecutors to investigate “specific allegations” of voter fraud before the results of the presidential race are certified.

Richard pilger, who was director of the election crimes branch of the doj, sent a memo to colleagues that suggested his resignation was linked to barr’s memo, which was issued as the president’s legal team mount baseless legal challenges to the election results, alleging widespread voter fraud cost him the race.

I know it's beating a dead horse at this point but the state of politics and government in this country is fucking apalling. Fucking Biden, a dude I'm not even that excited about, wins the MOTHER FUCKING ELECTION, and these piece of shit henchmen think they can just say "nuh uh i don't wanna". It's a travesty on American ideals and culture, which I admit isn't that much of anything to be proud of in the first place, but what minuscule amount of pride I have left in this country is starting to evaporate into the fucking air.

I'm honestly starting to understand OH levels of disdain and rage lately. Sometimes I just want these people to be dead. Like, just, just fucking go away Rick DeSantis.
