That was just round 1.

Honestly I do think it would make some sense to break America into different countries if it could be done peacefully... Politically we don't see eye to eye on so much I don't know why the heartland and the coasts wouldn't be mutually glad to part ways... But then you get the problem of nation states squared off against each other geopolitically instead of one massive hegemon with a world wide empire. That's the real reason we stick together. It's not for the sake of domestic politics. We just don't wanna give up the juice.

There could probably be compromise there. One side has to take the city, but the other side needs to take the Detroit Lions.
